Hi! I was just about to order the Zowie Fk2 when I started wondering about the button binds. Is it possible to bind the two left side buttons to mouse 4 & 5? This is important since I don't want to move my pinkie around to click them. I was not able to find an answer on other forums or review sites, so please, community of LTT, enlighten me!

So i have big hands, like, really big hands and i use a very weird mouse grip (hovering my fingers over the buttons and barely touching the sides with my fingertips) and i would like to buy a high performance mouse. Shape couldn't be less of a concern as a barely touch it but i would like some red lighting on it and a 4 directional scroll wheel (that can be bumped left and right). Any good ideas?

For starters I know there was a similar thread about this that was posted today but that was a little out of my price range. I'm looking for a good gaming mouse. My max budget is $35 USD but preferably in the $25 USD range. Did razer ever make a red led mouse? im looking for one to go with my computer, right now im looking at corsair and msi mice. Are there any other red mice out there that look good? no budget

So I just need to settle some stuff here. Razer products are hated quite a lot throughout the PC community and I'd just like to know why? As you can tell by my signature. I use a blackwidow 2014 and I really like it. It feels great to type on and is just an overall nice keyboard. I do know that some of Razer's products are known for being weak, I understand that. But with products like the Blackwidow and other things I don't know what the issue is. Can someone PLEASE tell me why Razer is such a a hated brand?

I just got my first gaming pc , but now I need a good mouse and a good keyboard. My price range is about £80 for both, but with the keyboard it does not need to be backlit or mechanical, but that would be nice. For the mouse I don't really care just something comfortable in the hand and with adjustable dpi settings. I am mainly going to be playing games like CSGO, Battlefield, ARAMA 3 and other FPS games if that helps.

I very recently purchased a logitech g502 gaming mouse from amazon. However, after playing a few games (BF4, Dying Light, gmod) for a day or two it just doesn't cradle the size of my hand enough. It makes my ring finger and pinky finger ache after a few minutes of playing (due to my grip style) as there is not enough support. So I am considering returning it. Does anyone know of any gaming mice that suite people with larger hands with a palm grip style? Thanks. NOTE: Before this, I had a Cyber Snipa Silencer mouse that was very comfortable for me. The only reason for upgrading was its sensor had finally given in.

Greetings Forum I have recently encountered to problems involving my Razer Naga 2014 so I am looking for another gaming Mouse. Now I was browsing through an online store when a Cooler Master Alcor Optical Gaming Mouse caught my attention. Now the reason why i'm posting this is because I want to know if I should buy the Optical mouse or save up some more and buy a Laser one. I usually play CS:GO and some MOBAs as well and I my sensitivity is usually set to 1200 dpi on the Naga. I have Cm storm Mizar right now but it doesnt track on cloth mousepad so i might replace it. Which mouse is better CM Storm Havoc or Steelseries Sensei RAW Black Ops 2(the retailer doesnt have regular raw model)?

Please note this article is an April Fools Joke. Jason Christian, product manager for keyboards and mice, has today announced the Corsair Vengeance M63MM RGB Gaming Mouse. He explains how our keyboards are mechanical, but mice are limited to optical and laser sensors. This mouse is a mechanical mouse, a ball mouse made of Corsair Boron Infused Graphene, or BIG and has and "insane DPI of 450. They made it by taking and M65 RGB, then "carefully" take out the sensor, and then you put a ball in it. Don't forget. the M in M63MM is for mechanical!

So Logitech just dropped a new $100 mouse. That's gaming mouse price, and it's not exactly targeted for gaming users. From the little I've seen of it, it doesn't seem like it has the features that have become popular on modern gaming mice, and the snapshots I've seen of the software, it doesn't look like it has the same kind of macro support and features we've become used to. Any other thoughts? Anyone have one?

Hi! I am looking to buy a complete peripherals set for 300-350$. I need help, I can't decide. I need it mostly for programming and listening to music, not so much for games. I want mechanical keyboard and not necessarily a headset, headphone would be just fine, preferably with 3.5mm jack instead of the USB. Also, if it is possible to be all from the same manufacturer, if not, still good. I was thinking of some of these sets: Gamdias: Zeus, Hermes, Haephestus Razer Chroma: BlackWidow, DeathAdder, Kraken 7.1 or this: Keyboard: Corsair K70 (maybe RGB) Headset: Kingston HyperX Cloud II Mouse: ??? Anything else? I am not from USA, so I am not able to buy some less know products as they are not present on my market. EDIT: Headphones would be used 95% for the music. I am listening to heavy metal and hard rock music (you could have guessed because I am a programmer )

I really liked my mmo7 due to shape and buttons, but after having to send it in four times for broken mousewheels and buttons I gave up. My stopgap has a broken middle button so I am looking into buying a new mouse. I mostly claw mice due to my hands getting sweaty pretty quick, so something similar to the mmo7's shape would be best, just with better buildquality. With 50 bucks to spend I am looking at the sheer jungle of mice. Any suggestions?

How much would you spend on a mouse/keyboard? (Mostly interested in the keyboard bit.) I'm thinking of getting a $20 mouse. All the (mechanical) keyboards I can find are much more expensive. I'm asking so I know how much to look for.

I spend most of my time on this forum in this very "Peripherals" section. Time and time again, somebody will come along, asking about what sort of mouse to buy, not giving up a whole lot of information about how big their hands are, their budget, etc and before I can even speak a word I see two words - "Logitech G502." So I would like to clear things up. When asking about what sort of peripherals to buy, please include the following. For mice: Include your budget for one. Include your hand size in centimeters from the first bracelet of your wrist to the top of your middle finger. Include what sort of grip you use, whether it's palm, claw, fingertip or some hybrid of the two or three. If you have any other requirements like macros or a preference of sensor, please list these. For keyboards: Again, budget. Your key switch preference. Ignore Cherry MX switches if your budget is fairly low (under $80 USD usually). Form factor of the keyboard, whether it is tenkeyless, full size, +macros, whatever. Other things that could go here. Some people like the ISO keyboard layout (big L-shaped Enter key) for example. For controllers: Budget. Games you'll be playing with the controller. The controllers you've enjoyed previously. Anything else you might want to include. Remember that anything that plugs into USB can technically be "Peripherals" but please keep in mind that things like microphones and gaming headsets and whatnot belong in the "Audio" subforum and people here generally won't be able to help you so much. Here's a list of things I would consider to be "peripherals." Mice Keyboards Controllers/racing wheels/flight simulation controllers Mousepads Numeric keypads Desks Chairs Webcams Some common things mentioned in peripherals that I don't personally feel belong here as they don't contribute to the usage of a computer in a way that makes it more comfortable. Printers/Scanners Random adapters Headphones/audio in general Pieces of random components. A monitor panel replacement, for example, is not a peripherals subject. Optical drives (technically storage) For people who recommend things in this subforum, PLEASE READ THIS. STRMfrmXMN'S RULES TO LIVE BY (kinda) The G502 is not the be-all and end-all of gaming mice. The Corsair K70 RGB is not the be-all and end-all of keyboards (good luck finding them in stock too...). Always ask the potential buyer for an outline of what they're trying to buy. Budget, specifics like hand size for mice and key switch preference for keyboards, and even things like country of origin should be thought of before "BUY X KEYBOARD." Remember, not everybody understands what Cherry MX Reds feel like or why a laser sensor may not be great for FPS gaming. They will likely need help. In the words of Wil Wheaton: "Don't be a dick." Im looking for a new mouse and i'm looking for a mouse that is either made of nice materials that have some weight to them or a above average mouse that is on the heavy side. The mouse must have the side buttons for forward and back. Any suggestions?

So what are ya'll's favorite mice you use/have used? Personally, I love my G502 Proteus Core, perfect amount of buttons and awesome dpi adjustability.

For now this OP is more of a placeholder until I have more time to throw something nice together. Basically this is just going to be a place to show off and talk about your enthusiast and/or gaming mice. Maybe post some nice tech porn (see my photobucket for examples) or tell us what model you have and what made it worthy of you buying it. Well we're at it let's try and aim to get stickied!
