Over on Reddit, there has been some anger regarding some of Riot's patents; http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1x3v1u/riot_games_granted_us_patent_on_spectator_mode/ Riot games has made an official response to this over on their website; http://www.riotgames.com/articles/20140206/1165/no-interest-using-patents-offensively The company says it has no interest in acting aggressively with its patents on features such as a spectator mode, but instead patents out these things to avoid the patent trolls. I think this speaks tons about just how broken the patent system is. We have dishonest people and companies destroying competition with patents. Pharmaceutical companies refuse to research any life-saving medicine that isn't patentable, and will in many cases market drugs that they have a patent on that is less effective than a generic drug on which they don't. Now every major company effectively has to patent all of their features, and then we have to trust these companies not to start patent trolling other companies. On EU side, Fnatic is leading with 7 wins and 0 losses and in 2nd place, it is Roccat with 5 wins and 2 losses. I am a die hard Fnatic fan, so I support them, but I really hope Gambit will step up their game! Kinda disappointed in the Alliance super team turned out to be complete crap. (so far) As for NA, I want TSM to win, I am not a fan of them, but I want them to win and Dignitas. Hate C9 btw.

I currently have a cruddy MDG computer from around 2006. Its all original aside from 3 or 4 graphics card replacements, and it currently has a gts 450. It serves its purpose for me witch pretty much is watching youtube videos and playing league of legends. Sorta. It takes about 3 or 4 minutes to load a game of League, witch if you play that game, is much to long. The game also crashes 9 out 0f 10 games. Not good. So i have $200 give or take to fix it. My other computer runs fine, and has been without a graphics card for a month, so I planed on replacing the motherboard and CPU. Specs--- CPU- Pentium® 4 CPU 3.40GHz RAM- 1.00 GHz Graphics Card- GTS 450 So what I need to know is if I pull out the old stuff and put the new stuff in, are there drivers I need to uninstall and reinstall. Also, my disk drive is connected using ribbon cable, and I’m not sure what connections it has, and I need to now if and how I can re-connect it to a modern motherboard. It resembles the picture on top right (as in all the connections are the same).

Hey i'm not gaming very much lately but, i still want the chance to play low level games like Lol and Diablo 3 i have a Asus Z9PE-D8 motherboard and 2 Xeon E5-2620V2 cpu and running server 2012. thinking that i can install windows 8.1 on a flashdrive and buy a old used gfx. or is it better to buy a used laptop? Sum up install win 8.1 and add a gpu or buy a laptop. Martin B. Jakobsen

I have been playing League of Legends for about 2 years now, and have met my best friends through LoL. Been getting burnt out recently with it, and I've always wanted to get more into Dota 2, but it always seemed so complicated and had a high skill floor. So I want you guy to convert me to play Dota 2 more than League of Legends. -XI

Does anyone know if there is an unofficial LTT forums league of legends chat room (in-game chat room for anyone who doesn't know what I mean) already made? If not, am I allowed to make one/would anybody be interested in hanging out in there? I tried searching for something like this and couldn't find one already made.

Hello folks, So me and a female friend of mine used to play League of Legends a bunch, I met her in this game as well and do know her for over 2 years now. But as many of you likely know, the lol community is horse shit. She is not having an easy time irl and whenever she asked me to play with her, it was because she wanted to have some fun. Not get shouted at and yelled and what not. So, few days ago she just said. "Fuck this game, I'll delete it" Wich I completely understood and did not mind. I told her that I would look for another game that we could play. The only game I knew off that she played was amnesia. So here is the question? HELP! ^^ I have absolutely no idea what other game to play with her. So here are a few of the prefered things. Replayable Multiplayer (co-op) Puzzle Medival (not a must) Indie? She plays on a laptop and it's not the best gamer laptop out there. Cheers! ^^ Updated: 4 feb 2014.

Hi there, i just bought a PNY GTX780ti and i would like to know the average fps for League of Legends, that is the game a mainly play. I did some research and i found some people with problem in fps, now I'm little scared. Also i'll send my other hardwares in case you need to know: -SSD: Samsung 840EVO -Motherboard: Asus Z87 PLUS -GPU: PNY GTX780TI -RAM: 16GB -Cooler and power source: to decide. So I would apreciate a lot if someone know the fps ill be able to play with vert sync off : )Thanks guys.

I have this really weird problem on my laptop, i played alot of League of Legends on it. suddenly on champion loading (map loading) my game freezes everyone except me had got into the game. i opened taskmanager to close the task but it would not be shutdown. i then got into process bar in taskmanager and tried to end the process. but that did not work. i then clicked on end process tree, every process related to League of Legends.exe ended but not League of Legends.exe my computer was running hot while this process could not be ended, the fan started to sound like it was going to explode. i then turned off the computer by holding down the button on the laptop. i started normal like shutingdown it sayed suddenly i got blue screen of death. What is actually going on? laptop specs: i7 2670m 2,2ghz 8gb ram 640 gb hdd nvidia 630m 2gb win 7 ps. the samething happen on gmod.

What's your favourite MOBA game? I personally prefer League,but that's probably because I got used to it. I tried Dota and I gotta say the community isn't that much different at all.In my 5 first games everyone on my team dc-ed and I was left to 1v5. Smite was cool but.. that third person view ;_;.

How come every time I play League with an amd gpu, I get this weird fluctuation in frames? It's so annoying When I play League with an AMD card my frames shoot from 57 and 63 and cause this weird effect where the game play wasn't as smooth cards I tested: Radeon 6870 Radeon 7850 Radeon 7750 Radeon 7770 Radeon 5670 I've tested all these cards even on the lowest settings w/different frame caps and still get this annoying stuttering effect WHY CAN"T A GET A SOLID FRAME RATE IN A LOW END GAME (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ ALL I WANT IS 60 SOLID Nvidia cards seem to not have this problem at all surprisingly When I use Nvidia cards my frame rate stays 60 no matter what, no stutter, no fluctuation, no problems, any settings cards tested: GTX 660 GTX 680 GTX 760 GTX 460 So let me hear you guys, is there anything I can do to stop the amd cards from stuttering? (please tell me) have you experienced something similar? I asked a lot of people and they agree Do you guys think AMD needs make Driver optimizations for league of legends? or do you think Riot games needs to optimize and tune the gaming experience for amd cards? I don't even know who to point fingers at

What do you think about the new changes? New vision system is good, people will only have to get used to it. I don't understand why Riot decided to cut down the bushes.They were great before.Overall, I think it's okay.You won't have as many escape abilities and jukes,so you gotta be more careful. On the other hand,what they've done with the supports is sooo great.It's amazing. As I main counter-jungle Shaco,I don't know what to say about the new jungle. Before,I usually got blue then invade the enemy red,maybe get first blood too.But now, you need to get 2 buffs and a minion camp for lvl 3.I haven't messed too much with the new camp though,so I guess I'll have to get used to it. Anyway,I can see what Riot wants to do in season 4, but the question is how will people react to the changes.

Is it worth installing LoL on my Samsung 840 250GB SSD? I know loading times will be faster but by how much? Also, will it make updating the game faster? And will updating the game increase the size of the program, filling up my SSD more and more each time?

Hello! I've just recently looked into overclocking my gtx 760 and did a minimal change by increasing clock speed by 50. There have been two events within the last two days (one in Batman Arkham City and the other in League of legends) where the frame rates would drop extremely low all of a sudden to the point where the game is stuttering frame to frame and my screen would go black and my computer would be unrecoverable from its state unless I manually powered it down/rebooted. I've never had this problem before so I reset my graphics card to its default settings just in case that was the issue, but I have yet to see if this works. Can anyone with knowledge on this specific issue enlighten me on what's going on? Thanks! So well, I've been planning on building a PC strictly for gaming and my budget is around $1750 with peripherals. And some of you may hate or love me for this but I will be mainly be playing League of Legends with this. (Also BF4, and new release titles). Hey guys, havnt build a pc in a while so i need some help with my next build So im helping my mate build a pc because his laptop finally pooped out. He needs a pc for gaming (mostly league of legends), video editing (adobe after effects), and music making (Abelton Live and FL Studio). The problem is his budget is $1250~ NZD which isnt a lot for that kind of computer He already has a hard drive and mouse. This means he will need a cpu, mobo, gpu, ram, case, psu, monitor and keyboard. I know this is an incredibly low budget for a video editing machine but its all he has for now Another question is, if he already has Windows installed on the hdd, will it work on the new pc? Just needed help because i dont know if there are parts that work well with the applications mentioned.
