Hello, for some reason the sound on my PC is no longer working. I just finished installing a cpu AIO cooler but now no matter what device I use I can not get any sound to come from PC (tried headphones and speakers). All I get is a low pitched hum sound that does not show up on the volume mixer and starts going even while the computer is still booting up. Situation: - PC is playing Audio (green bar shows on audio mixer) but I can not hear anything except for a low humming sound. - Audio devices are plugged into correct ports on PC and are properly selected in device settings but no output What I Have Tried: - Redownloading Audio Drivers for BIOS - Deleting and redownloading ALL audio drivers - Tested PC audio on both headphones and speakers with no luck - Made sure all Audio related connections on motherboard are still connected - Made sure correct device is connected and selected in settings I think I have now tried just about every commonly recommended solution for this problem and have had no luck at all. Please help me!!

I have two different sets of Bluetooth devices (Monster Clarity on Ear Headphones, and Soundcore life p3) that work on my android phone. However when I connect them to my computer I am unable to get proper audio quality out of it. My goal is to use the microphone and the headphones at the same time but Windows has this stupid "Headset" mode that gives absolutely terrible audio quality. I can't tell what's going on in music or games with this mode. But if I turn the setting to Headphone mode for the output device then the mic doesn't work anymore. I have spent hours googling and reading forums and posts including old ones here to no avail. I recently figured out that it may be a Bluetooth version issue with my PC but I upgraded my Bluetooth dongle to 5.3 (UGreen) and this should no longer be an issue? I'm stumped and my webcam mic isn't great while gaming from what I'm told... Has anyone run into this issue and found a fix? What you see below works but headset output has garbage audio quality. What you see below is what I want but the headphone output doesn't work when I select headset as the input.

Hi everyone, I'm currently looking for a replacement of my wireless headset, Bose Quiet Confort 35 II. They have served me well but the lack of a mute button is hurting my brain. I'm looking for these features: - No small in-ear/earpod like headphones (my head and ears are not standard enough) - Wireless (need to walk around in some meetings or take them while I'm in the street) - Good mic with decent noise reduction (to avoid sounding like I am connected to a synth or next to a construction site when my neighbor is cutting his grass) - Mute button (I'm always in fear of being the one with the bathroom noises for those looong meetings or not close to my computer when I need to speak) - Noise cancelation (so I can hear what people is saying while my cat is marking/destroying my sofa or I'm out on the street) - No RGB (I don't need more fps for work) As I said I'm using the Bose 35 II and they cover everything but the mute functionality well enough. My budget is 250 USD. Thanks in advance

Hello, I noticed yesterday that my headset had a crack in the plastic where it denotes which side is which and moves with the ear cups when extending. I put some glue and tape to hold it together for now but was wanting to fix it properly. Does anyone have a place I can buy the part or know where I could download a file to 3D print for free? I found a couple people say they RMA it but I've had this set for well over a year. Any help is welcomed!

Would a the conference speaker Linus uses in his meetings be any good for my husband and I to use in the same room on discord for gaming? will our friends hear our game? We have tried various setups both having headsets or just one mic but we get issues. Looking for all-round solution without spending a fortune. This would probably be a good option for zoom calls like speaking to family on the big tv and this being our main mic. Any thoughts would be fab. Thanks (-:

Hello all, I want to get a VR headset. I'm tempted between either Quest 2 or Pico 4. I like the idea of Quest 2 as it has pretty good reviews, and Beat Sabre on the store so I could buy that. Most (if not everything else) I will buy on steam. Does anyone have experience of both of these headsets for PCVR, both playing with a cable connected to the computer, and wirelessly? As another question, does wireless PCVR play connect the headset directly to my computer (ASUS PCE-AX58BT WiFi 6 PCI-e card) or does it connect to the router and go through that? Thanks

My Arctis 7 wireless is great but the 2.4ghz wireless creates popping with my router which I have several home devices that need 2.4 so I can’t disable it. Looking for a replacement. I have a desk mic so mic quality doesn’t really matter. I’m more looking for audio quality. Would prefer wireless if possible my computer does have Bluetooth. budget:200$

Recently, I built a new pc and everything has been working fine except for the keyboard randomly spamming keys in random intervals after input and also the headset making a constant hum while plugged in. These problems weren't present on my previous pc. (going more in-depth about the keyboard is that it works fine most of the time but sometimes it randomly repeats a key after input and will only stop after I input another key. If I don't interrupt it, it repeats indefinitely) I plugged in my cousin's keyboard and the same issue still affected his keyboard so I know it isn't a problem with the keyboard itself. I've done constant searching, troubleshooting, reinstalling drivers, and even reinstalling Windows to no avail. No articles, videos, or forums on Google or youtube have helped. We've been thinking maybe that it's a motherboard issue and are considering replacing it as a last resort. If anybody has any advice, tips, feedback, or anything that would be helpful at this point, I would greatly appreciate it. I like using my gaming headset (Plantronics RIG 600LX LX1) for video conferencing — speakers, mic, and comfort are good enough for my usage, but could be better — but I hate how the headband smushes my hair down. I'm looking for a high quality headset that doesn't rest on the top of my head. Must-haves: Good sound quality Good, adjustable mic, something along these lines Over-ear or on-ear speakers, both sides Headband or some other method of staying on that doesn't flatten my hair. (Does anyone make a headset that stays fastened with a sweatband-style band?) Wired Decently comfortable (I might wear for a max of 2 hours at a time) Nice-to-haves: Noise cancelation Background noise suppression for mic (I don't know if this is even a thing, but I like to work in cafes sometimes, which can be a bit noisy and make it hard to both hear and be heard) Spatial audio support Hardware mute No ePiC gAmEr aesthetic Willing to spend about $200, maybe up to $300 if it checks off some of my nice-to-haves. Any recommendations? I appreciate the help.

I am looking for a headset that will advantage of the PS5 3d audio all while letting me hear my own voice during game chat. I want to be able to turn my voice down or up for my own benefit. I've tried the ps5 headset and astros a20s. The ps5 has a mic monitor button but I cannot hear myself because the volume is so low. When I go to options and test the mic, I get clear monitoring/sidetone but once I go back to menu or game, it goes away. Is there a headset that will take advantage of ps5 3d audio and have on board controls for mic monitoring/ sidetone?

Upgrading my headset from steelseries siberia v3. I have thought of many options, Soundcore space Q45, Hyperx Flight S, Hyperx cloud alpha. Will mostly use it for gaming and listening to music on my pc. It can be wired if it has better qualities for a much cheaper price. (It being wireless isn't the most important tbh, but since my wireless earbuds are also quite old now, I thought why not make a combined purchase) I have also thought about getting the mic and headphones separately, but feel that might be a bit over my budget. (if you have any suggestions, please give them, even if their over my budget) All suggestions and help will be much appreciated. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Hello everyone, I already have a pair of Sennheiser 58x that I really like but i would like a pair of closed backs on hand with a detachable mic, for travel etec and for aome games where a closed back would be helpful. I’ve seen alot of good things about the Coolermaster mh751/752 (based on taskstar 82 i believe?) but I am also very interested in the Epos H6pro closed backs (like new openbox h6pros are $100 on Amazon so roughly close in price after that). I am having a hard time deciding between the Cooler master 751s and the epos h6pros…does anyone have experience with both?

Hi all, I am looking to buy a new gaming headset for someone and the budget is anything under $250. It needs to be compatible with PC at minimum but if it is compatible with PS5 and Xbox also that would be nice. I would prefer wireless, but wired is also okay as long as it is a nice headset. Sound quality is definitely the first priority over anything else. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated

Hello together, I've been spending to much time lately on websites selling headsets, trying to filter it down to what I actual want. Problem is, most stores don't offer enough filters, or are poorly maintained. I hope someone is more invested in the topic than I and can point me to a good headset. I list some details below. Anyhow, I thank you kindly for any pointer I get. Kind regards, Tschuangtse Intended use: conversations through team speak, discord; gaming; occasional movies or videos Budget: preferably about 150€, more if needed to get a perfect match Must have: Over ear headset Wireless (Bluetooth) Power-Switch instead of a button you'd hold down. (Fake)Leather earcups (or any other material with a closed surface) Chargeable per USB-C Mute by angling microphone arm up Preferred: Tight fit (stronger pressed against the head) Exchangeable/Switchable battery

My hyperX cloud stinger headset is plugged in, so it should be coming up here, but my pc is not detecting it at all. the jacks are tightly plugged into the correct slots, and I've tried moving them around, this is a completely brand-new headset, so it has to be a problem with this computer. Does anyone have any ideas?

I looked into this shortly but seemed out of my expertise, could someone explain or enlighten me of a way to boost the wireless signal of a headset like the corsair hs80? I just wanna go from talking on discord and in between rounds just get up and go smoke a cigar or something outside which is maybe 15 feet away from the PC but the walls are cheap concrete but the distance isn't far and my location of the dongle for the headset is already 6feet raised into the air. Just wondering if someone can enlighten me of any product im unfamiliar with. Thanks in advance lads

First time poster, so here goes nothing. I've recently managed to break my old headset and I'm looking to get some really nice closed back headphones for everyday use (gaming, watching videos/movies, listening to music while I study...) for when I go back to university in September. The catch is that I'm only going to be using my ROG G14 gaming laptop with it's regular audio jack while I'm there, so I'm not sure how fancy I should go. From looking at some other posts here it seems like going in the headphone rather than gaming headset direction is better, since I have a standalone mic. I have no real experience with high end audio gear or if I should even be looking at such gear in this situation. Any suggestions or pointers would be much appreciated.

First off I want to say that I am looking for a way to fix this and if not just suggest cheap headsets under 40 buck because I only have 47 dollars right now. My JBL headset which I got as a christmas present from my dad (brand new) just died at the 7th / 8ish month mark of its life. Ive been using it to listen to music and to play video games usually about 5/6 hours for 5 days in the week. The wires have not been cut and ive been treating it like a baby when pulling out the audio jack. But the Audio jack has a faint black ring possibly because of the color of the audio port in my laptops (or sign of wear and tear). The headset is cosmetically brand new except for my initials on it and the earmuffs being less stiff. So any way to fix it or any videos to suggest?

Hi everyone, First time posting here and begging for help I have had an Astro a50 3rd gen for years now and had some problems but nothing I could not fix, I finally decided to upgrade and got the A50 4th Gen immediately after starting use I have this constant ticking noise in the headset (i have tried turning off mic monitor it does not work) I thought this was just a defective headset so I returned it and got the same one and had the exact same problem (note: I did not have this issue with the old 3rd gen) I returned this headset as well thinking it was also just defective. I then purchased the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and am still having the issue. this lead me to believe that it was a driver issue on my PC after updating drivers it still persisted and I also tried the headset on my MacBook and still had the issue. It is obviously wireless interference so I tired different locations for the bas station all over my desk the furthest from the router I could and still have the problem. I am going to return the SteelSeries regardless as I do not care for it but does anyone have any idea how I can stop this interference issue as I cant really move my setup much.. Thank you!

and currently looking to go wireless. At the moment I've seen recommendations for both the Astro A20 and the Logitech G77 in some "top 10" lists but what do you think? What kinda wireless headset would you recommend for gaming (PUBG for sound placement) and streaming? So need something that will help identify the direction of sounds in game but also be comfortable for long term use. Budget I'd say is between £100-200 roughly so please help me out
