I´ve heard you should either only use copper or only use aluminium for your custom water cooling loop. Why the hell, in this case, are there no copper pump+reservoir combos availible? Even the EK Waterblocks webpage gives me an aluminium pump+reservoir combo. Does the pump not affect the water? Sorry if the question turns out to be stupid - LiquidNitrogen BTW can I use brass fittings for an all-copper loop?

Hello everyone! I got here for your advice and help to find keyboard and mouse which would suit me. The reason I`m asking that is because i dont know many models and brands, my knowledge is limited on what i heard and used my self but it wasnt too many staff any way. First of all i want to thank everyone who going to take a part in this thread, I much appreciate your help. I am looking to upgrade few thing for my PC: mouse and keyboard - at first, chair and headset - afterwards. For chair and headset i will make two separate topics so they wont mix with this one. For mouse and keyboard i want to find them both from one brand and looking like from one model line as much as possible but it is not completely necessary, usability first, esthetics second unless it looks like transformers then i will pass on it no matter how great it is. Both mouse and keyboard need to be from one brand so i dont collect peripheral software and can cooperate them both. I do not like razer software for its 2000`s look of UI, but its not the red flag - i would take razer combo if it worth it. I do not like steelseries brand since i been using sensei pro mouse from them and there was no week when i had no issue with it: sometimes it stops working after restart, so i need to unplug and plug it back, constantly profiles set on default and wont set on preferred unless i do dancing with a tambourine. However i would go for steelseries if product has been proven working good. i do understand that i could be my case and not the others. I never used any other brand so dont know anything else. So what im looking from mouse is basic things, not looking like transformers and have 3-4 side buttons. Good sensor and good side grips. maybe some led or rgb so it looks good with keyboard which must have rgb. What im looking from keyboard is RGB function with option to set individual keys on different color, so i can make WASD one color, 12345 other, QERT third color and so on. Mechanical keys - model/type doesnt matter. Would be very happy if can find keyboard with NumPad on the left side otherwise Macro Keys a must. Thank you very much for taking a part in this threat.

I'm undecided whether to buy a headset, or whether to buy a stand alone microphone with a separate pair of headphones. My budget is around £80, but £100 maximum. Headsets I've considered: Steel Series Arctis 3 Corsair HS50 Logitech G433 As for headphones and microphones I am unsure of good quality ones, but I would preferably like to use my headset/headphones with my phone when I'm walking to college. Thanks!

I bought an HP Envy 700-500ny computer that came with a wireless mouse and keyboard combo. PC Specifications The dongle of the combo kept disconnecting so I applied some force. It worked and then it stopped so I applied even more pressure, but then the dongle broke. Is there a way I can still use the mouse and keyboard? Thanks for the help

So i have been making posts and searching for what seemed to be reasonably price for performance PC parts. This is the Build i have decided on so far, but i would like feedback and other options that would be cheaper for close to equal performance. I might get a 1060 until the new Nvidia GPU's are possibly being released in July. If they are not the 1060 would go to my father who would use it for work since his job is software. I picked the mount because it didn't use screws and didn't need to be attached to my desk and because i would like to watch TV and such in my bed that is Perpendicular to the desk. Any Feed back is helpful but i would like to stay under $1800 including mount and monitor. I'm actually a little curious... Would the combo deal here actually be any good? I know Gigabyte mobo's aren't the best for Ryzen compared to something cheaper like the ASrock Pro 4. The ram is only 2400 mhz as well which is not enough (I think) for Ryzen. However, when "added to the cart", it's actually $85 off! Because of the price and the mix of good and bad parts, I'm confused as to weather it's a good deal or not... It comes barely more expensive than a Ryzen 1600X part list I threw together but that has a more reliable mobo and ram. Combo: $657 Ryzen 1600X build I threw together to see price differences: $606

Hello I'm looking for good quality rams for Asus Z8Pe-D12. Since this MB supports two cpus and 6 dimm ports per cpu, so my target is 8 GBs per cpu that means 16GB total(8x2GB kit), but I looked for supported memory list for this motherboard in asus page and its quite a lot, problem is how to choose quality ones. My budget is 150 USD. Thanks for help.P.S I adding supported memory list: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket1366/Z8PE-D12/QVL/Z8PE-D12_Memory_AVL_111229.pdf?_ga=2.215337751.164670422.1519977645-97592133.1519977645

Long story short, what would everybody recommend I buy as my new keyboard and mouse? I currently use a Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 (Yellow) with a Razer Deathadder Elite. I have been looking at the Logitech G903 with the PowerPlay, but can't find a matching keyboard, as the G910 Orion Spectrum sounds pretty bad compared to the rest of the keyboard market. The same is true for the Corsair K95, being the best keyboard I can find, but the matching mice do not appeal to me. Any help is appreciated.

Hello, I have just bought a new PC but I'm using some very old peripherals from Logitech and I'm looking to upgrade for up to around £150. I have a decent sized hand (18cm Length, 11cm width) and want a keyboard and mouse combo from the same brand, RGB is nice but not necessary. For the keyboard I want it to be mechanical but quiet, kinda like cherry speeds or Razer mecha-membrane keys. I was thinking a Razer deathadder elite and ornata chroma. But then I had a rethink and I also kinda want the Logitech g pro and a Logitech keyboard (not sure which). If you find a better set, or for cheaper with decent features, I will be very grateful and I'm looking for something from the same brand (in case it has RGB so I can sync it.) Thank you

Hello LTT. So our family PC has got an i7-2600 which I'd like to smuggle upstairs for my own PC. However I need a replacement motherboard and CPU for the family PC. My siblings only play overwatch and minecraft on a GTX 550 Ti. They're fine with 50 FPS (don't ask me why) and so the CPU doesn't have to be very powerfull. I would like to spend as little money as possible but it has to be a DDR4 system because I already have an 8GB DDR4 kit laying around. Any recommendations?

I am of the group that wants their basic keyboards and mice to be as inexpensive as possible, warranting me to want to make this post. This allows me to be as rough on my equipment as possible without worrying about the overall expense that I put into my purchases. I don't like to get stuff that will break easily though. My equipment needs to have a certain level of longevity. I often find myself just using the lowest model of name brand equipment or keyboards that are made to ship with prebuilt systems like Dell, HP, Lenovo etc. This time I ran into an issue where a default keyboard was running its time too fast and was not comfortable to type on at all. I almost bought a Logitech K120, but then came across the recommendation on amazon for the OfficeTec KB202 (~$10). Reviews on it were relatively promising so I went for it. This is a wired variant as I am not a fan of wireless solutions, but they do have a wireless option in the KB101 (~$14). This review may not be applicable to that model as it has a different base design. Here is what I found: Pros:- Inexpensive- Sturdy- Decent Feel- Easy Setup (plug and play/ no drivers)- Solid clicking on mouse- DPI buttonCons:- Poor non-slip pads- Awkward placement of scroll wheel (Big hands)- Backwards mapping of side thumb buttonsThe keyboard takes a short while, 30min, to break in before the keys both quite and gave a decent tactile feel. The keys are louder then a more expensive keyboard that is advertised as such, but the set is quite inexpensive and the keyboard is quieter then my previous one. The vertical "Enter" key takes some getting used to. I do enjoy it that way as the position of the |\ key is closer and easier to use for programming in my opinion. The media keys all function as expected. The "Home" key opens the default Web Browser selected in the Default apps section of Windows Settings, "E-mail" button opens the default email client, Play/ Pause/ Stop/ Previous/ Next all work to control the media playing in a media player, and the volume buttons control system volume. The only button that some may feel is missing is a button to open a Media Player. The overall construction is very light and has a significant amount of flex to it. This does not mean it is not sturdy. When checking the flex, none of the keys buckled on each other or showed signs of popping out and it did not make any creaking or cracking sounds. Again the keyboard is very light and will not stay in place without a rubber mat, new rubber pads, or (what I did) thick double sided rubber adhesive. I used some 3M tape on the bottom of the two pads and two legs. I also wore down the adhesive on the bottom of the tape a bit so that the keyboard did not fixate to the desk. I used this method because I had the tape readily available and use it for other application purposes. As for the mouse. The dpi button is nice so that the changes don't need to be made in the OS menus. The default sensitivity is rather low, so I took it up two notches. It appears to have 4 settings using the hardware dpi button. The scroll wheel feels good but is a bit high for my liking. I have used other small form mice that felt more comfortable then this one because they had a large vertical profile. I do not dislike the size of the mouse, it just makes scrolling a bit more difficult for me. The only gripe I have is the default mapping of the thumb arrows. The one pointing away from you is used as the back key while the one towards is used as the forward. I have since remapped it using a key mapper so that I had the standard use that I am used to. Over all I do feel this is going to last me a significant amount of time. Probably the best deal I have seen on an r7 1700 and x370 motherboard combo so far. The initial price is $438 usd, but when you put it in your cart and go to checkout it gives you an instant 50 usd discount bringing the total to 388 usd before tax. It is sold by amazon and comes with free 1 day shipping too. Hey all, i'm about to buy a DAC/Amp combo and the Schiit Fulla 2 and the Micca Origen+ are the two i've been heavily considering. I understand that both have there benefits and cons. But I'm planning to get this now and then buy another amp sometime down the road. Any recommendations between these two. I'm having a hard time between these two and I could use some help. BUT if you have any other recommendations let me know below THANKS!

Hi, As the title suggests, are there any notable portable DAC + Amp combos that I can take with me on road trips? I have a OnePlus 3 and I'll be using Beyerdynamic iDX 200 ie. I've been looking at the Fiio A5 but that's only an amp. I went to have a look at the Fiio E17K Alpen 2 but is there anything of another brand perhaps even... that's better? My budget is hopefully around $200 +/- $50. Thanks!

Hi i've had my DT 770 Pros for about 4 months now i used to use them with my pc alot but recently due to a situation that has occurred i am playing more on console (ps4). I have a modmic attached to my headphones and both the headphone and the modmic line go into a cheap little £5 usb soundcard and then that plugs into the ps4. The problem i'm having is that the headphones are turned right up on the ps4 and are still quite quiet. If i'm not mistaken an amp should fix this problem for me right? So i need an amp that will work with the ps4. Maybe i could run out of the optical of the ps4 into the amp/dac and still just use the mic on the usb soundcard thing. So i need some recommendations for amp or amp/dac combos. I have a budget of around £100 ($150) and need to be able to get it here over in the UK. I don't want to have to ship it over from the US if it is only available there. Thanks

Hi guys. I'm kinda a noob when it comes to mixers, audio interfaces and such. I wanted to buy myself a mixer, but later founding out what it actually was proved that I was looking for something different. What I am looking for is an interface that I could for example control game audio with, along with my mic volume, skype and such. Basically - analog knobs that do sh*t. I really don't know how to explain this better. Thanks in advance.

I'm on a tight budget, and I'm looking for a great gaming keyboard-mouse combo. Between the Devastator II and the Redragon S101, which one would you go for? I'm also open to suggestions.

I have a problem with my current setup. I would like to livestream to Youtube using obs. The problem is my computer does not like when I livestream skyfactory 2 with obs and of course having google open since its live streaming to youtube. Im sure my computer can not handle it because of my cpu and or motherboard. So I would like to find a good combo that could handle such a task. Keep in mind its a dual monitor set up that I currently use and I would like to keep it that way if possible. I am not really interested in overclocking. I know that it can be great and very helpful, but I honestly know nothing about overclocking. I believe that anyone answering this would require additional information, my graphics card is a Geforce GTX 960 4Gb, my power supply is a EVGA 600watt bronze power supply (bit of overkill). The ram I currently have is DDR3. I am not sure if my current cpu and motherboard need to be known so just in case I attached two pictures. They are screenshots of my board and cpu information taken from CPU Z. Thanks for the help.

Best Intel CPU/MOBO combo under $600. (All parts perferably through Amazon) I will be using this PC for recording and heavy video editing so the more cores the better. Also I am comfortable with purchasing used parts to cut some cost.
