The case comes with it's own RGB controller for it's included 3 RGB fans. The controller has a 3pin ARGB and 4pin PWM cable, and says it's compatible with ASRock's Polychrome RGB software. My motherboard has 3 LED ports from what I can tell, one listed RGB_LED1, ADDR_LED1, and AMD_LED1 ... each being 4 pins. So my question is ... how should I go about plugging everything in?

Like Intel chips, do Ryzen mobile chips also have throttle and shutdown failsafes to prevent damage from overheating?

So, my pc was working fine, I hop on ps4, then when I try to turn my pc on, it starts, but no signal. Keyboard doesn't light up, wifi adapter doesn't light up, nothing. My phone charges extremely slowly, what could it be? Its like all the output just got toasted. I'm stumped.

Budget (including currency): 300,000 PKR Country: PAKISTAN Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Video editing for 1 to 15min videos Other details I already have a gtx960 I could use. Want to make 2 editing rigs so that I can edit for clients such as companies looking to advertise or youtubers without editing knowledge. I'm gonna be learning editing side by side as well. I've built a couple gaming PCs for myself but I have no idea what I would need for video editing. I will mostly be editing 1080p but I want to future proof for 4k. No idea if I should upgrade for that in the future because my goal is to become a production house. I have no other parts at the moment only the gtx 960 from an old gaming pc. Any advice would be helpful in terms of monitors or hardware or software. Thankyou

Hi I'm very new to building PC and its only been a week since I have been doing research on what PC parts I want, so I kinda want my first build to last. But I'm not really sure if these parts are "good" or if they have problems such as bottle-necking one another. Please spare me on Jargons because I don't really get most of them. So this is my parts that I'm thinking about with a 800 budget: CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 / Ryzen 3600X GPU - RX 5600XT / GTX 1660 Super MoBo - Asrock B450 Pro4 PSU - EVGA 600W Bronze Storage - Seagate 2TB Barracuda, M.2 SATA 480gb SSD (I plan on keeping the M.2 SATA rather than NVMe because I already have it) Most of my concern is the CPU and GPU if they fit or maybe something else is better. If you have any recommendations please feel free to tell me if its better to switch the GPU\CPU to something else.

Budget (including currency): Around £1000-1500 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant, Warzone, Brawlhalla (Any new games I play). But also programs that i use for assignments that I need to complete (Word, PPT etc.) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming G .SKILL Ripjaws V 2x8GB DDR4 3600 EVGA RTX 2080 Super Black Gaming Arctic Cooling Liquid Freezer II AIO XPG Gammix S5 256GB NVMe M.2 Seagate Barracuda 2TB EVGA 650W GQ Phanteks Eclipse P400A I also have a Samsung C27F390 27-Inch Curved LED Monitor but that's what i already have at home. This was from Bitwit's Perfect $1500 Gaming PC Video back in Dec 2019 and that's why I wanted to find out if there are any new/better parts I could swap out that could make my build run better or be a cheaper alternative.

So during the lockdown I got stuck in my mom’s house and I set about finding my old gaming rig from 8 years ago. It turns out my mom had given it out the very moment I moved. Anyway in the depths of my perpetual hurt, I stumbled upon another PC in her store, it was an old office PC (Packard Bell) she’d used ages ago. Here are the specs outlined; CPU: Pentium 4 @ 3.6 ghz, 1 core, 2 Logical cores Mobo: ECS P4M800PRO-M RAM: 512MB DDR2 @ 553mhz Storage: Seagate Barracuda 120GB 7200rpm Now, it has been a long while since I ever touched a PC but I disassembled it, got it cleaned, put it back together and installed Windows 7 ultimate on this bad boy. I was off to a good start but I realised I needed drivers (I had to buy some driver pack thing that came in a DVD). I installed some, with some others (Notably sound and Ethernet) missing. There’s a bit of a problem with the display though as when I move windows around there’s a visible trail left behind it. Launching Windows 7 games like Chess and Solitaire is a disaster as they don’t work well because the animations/frames just won’t render. Now, I know this PC won’t run great (All I intend to do is audio editing in Audacity and type documents in Google Docs) but can this be fixed or is this to be expected? P.S.: When I said “multitasking” in the title, what I meant was basically having one file explorer window open and the task manager open at the same time.

Budget (including currency): 100,000 Pesos (more or less 2000 USD)(Philippines) Country: Philippines Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly Games, 3 AAA titles and mostly MOBA and FPS games for competitive Other details: Hi its my first time here, and I have an old unit, gtx 960 with i54460 for about 5 or 6 years now with an 1080p monitor, and this is the only time i have the money to build another one. Also would a switch to 1440p monitor be recommended? (pls do note that in my country, parts and components are priced higher than in the US) Currently my plan build is: AMD 3700x x570 Asus TUF Mobo Gigabyte Windforce 2070 Super corsair 650W 80+ gold Ripjaw DDR4 3600 RAM 16gb a m.2 500gb that i havent decided on yet a 7200rpm hdd that i havent decided on yet i would appreciate any opinions and suggestions!! thank you!!

I recently "upgraded" from a 4k 60hz lg to a 1440 166hz gigabyte aorus. I am going to be mostly gaming, but also some youtube creation. I don't know what else to do with my 4k monitor, and I am not familiar with using two monitors at once. If I add this to my setup for a second monitor, will my GPU be negatively affected? I don't want to sacrifice my gaming experience at all. But i think it would be nice to have the second monitor for video editing and creation. Any tips would be appreciated. I have my parts in my signature if you are curious or that helps to provide context.

If you take a dell optiplex 9020 could you throw in a newer cpu? Like one of the newer Ryzen models for example. I’m looking into getting an optiplex and am curious on what I could put in it with the stock mother board.

Hey everybody, I’m new to the PC world and I wanted to buy my first desktop computer for gaming. I was very interested in the Ryzen $900 build and was wondering if this would be a good choice for me. Thank you.

I'm graduating college with my Bachelors in Physics, and for a graduation present to myself I want to build a 1080p/1440p gaming setup. I have never built a gaming pc before and wanted to get some feedback on my planned rig to make sure I'm not overspending on something, or creating a bottleneck that will ruin everything. 1: Budget & Location Utah, USA. Budget: Sub $900 (just pc parts. I have other plans for OS and peripherals) 2: Aim I want to do High 1080p/Low to Mid 1440p gaming. Lots of skyrim mods, fallout 4 mods, starcraft 2, elden ring (when it comes out), and likely whatever Star Wars games come out in the next 2-3 years. 3: Monitors I currently have a Vizio d24f-f1 24" 1080p 60Hz tv that I plan to use as my monitor (24ms response time), and would like to buy a 27"-30" 1440p (max 120Hz) monitor in the future. I've never experienced high refresh rate gaming, and have never run anything better than an Xbox One S in my life. 4: Peripherals I have a mouse, and plan on buying a cheap (~$20) logitech keyboard from walmart or best buy when my parts get here. My plan is to copy all my files (including OS) from the 500GB SATA ssd in my laptop to my new computer, but i have no clue if that's possible or will work. If it doesn't I plan on using the pirate windows 7 then upgrade to windows 10 loophole, but am open to other suggestions. 5: Why am I upgrading? I've never had a gaming pc (i currently have an xbox one s that I use to play with my friends and a Dell Inspiron 15 5565 with an A12-9700P, 8 gigs of ram, integrated graphics and an ssd I had Geek Squad put in.) I want to run games that neither of those can, such as starcraft 2, heavily modded skyrim/fallout, elden ring (eventually), MCC on windows, as well as some light AutoCAD when i want to design something like a shooting target or a fence. The AutoCAD does't happen often. Can't decide between a Ryzen 5 2600 and Ryzen 5 1600AF for my CPU (i plan on using the included cooler) I'm thinking an RX 5600 XT for my GPU, though it wouldn't take much convincing to get me to go with a RTX 2060 KO (though I don't have much use for ray tracing. I don't like battlefield or minecraft, and I've never played tomb raider) 16 GB (2X8GB) G.Skill Aegis DDR4 3000 RAM Western Digital Blue SN550 NVMe M.2 500GB SSD Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING AM4 AMD Motherboard Seasonic S12III 550W 80+ Bronze power supply Fractal Design Focus G Black ATX Mid Tower Case (comes with 2 fans) Also anywhere I can bet cheap 120mm fans would be appreciated. Linked below is the link to my Newegg wishlist https://secure.newegg.com/wishlist/sd/dehxwp/81GjnVPwQC5bVlA== Some help deciding between the 2600 and the 1600AF would be great, as well as pointing out any bottlenecks or overlooks. Thanks!!!!!

Hey all, just going to do a small quick build to suit budget. Currently going for: Intel i5 9600KF Coolermaster ML120L CPU cooler ASUS Prime Z390M-Plus Motherboard Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO CMW32GX4M2A2666C16 32GB 2666MHz DDR4 (2x16) *Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Founders *Corsair 650W RM650 Gold Power Supply *ASUS PCE-AC68 802.11ac Dual-band Wireless-AC1900 PCI-E Adapter *Fractal Design Node 804 Black Micro ATX Case *Storage = Sorted (* = already owned) My questions are: Am i better off going i7 for this build? Is there really a huge difference from 9600KF to i7 9700? Is the 3200 MHz ram better suited to optimize the cpu? Open to suggestions for improvement. Thanks in advance.

So I am wanting to do a not SO complicated little project but I dont know where to start. Im wanting to take a AMD Prism Cooler and take the fan off and hang it on my wall. I need to power the fan through a wall port. And I also need to control it through my computer. How would I go about doing this. Its a little bit of a mod and I am new to the scene.
