Hello fellas o7, So i'm going to buy a new pc, with a 3900x cpu. My main activy will be rendering and simulations on 3ds max and other programs, and some gaming. So I would like to know what to choose from these two cpu cooler, and only these two, it's a technical dilemma. COOLER MASTER MA410M https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/cpu-air-coolers/masterair-ma410m/#Specifications COOLER MASTER MA620M https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/cpu-air-coolers/masterair-ma620m/#Specifications What I would like to know is, knowing that : the first one have two fans but a small radiator the second one have a big radiator but only one central fan What should I chose for optimal performance ? It's pure curiosity, I feel i should choose the second one ( MA620M), because of the bigger radiator and with the help of multiple fans on the case they may help, but then I thought maybe the two fans on the first one are more effective locally. Thanks for your help and patience

Hi, I got myself a pc, with some budget parts and.i live in south India so it's get pretty hot here. So I wanted to up my cooling a lil bit but im having a hard time finding some shit. So i have a corsair 175r, no fan hub. I have 2 case fans, one is a corsair rgb one, the other is something cheapo thingy, I want to pimp my rig with some rgb fans, and I've found some cheap one's which. Support aura sync, but im thinking of putting in 6 fans So here are my doubts I have one 12v rgb header- how many fans can thus baby take? Do all fan hubs support aura sync? If now how can i easily tell? I also want to find an aftermarket cooler cuz my cpu gets toasty, what would you recommend? I just need guidance on how to rgbfy my fans on the cheap Thank in advance Please go easy on me im noob

So, I will be building my first PC and I watched quite a lot of videos, I was wondering when should I mount my CPU cooler, before I install the MOBO or after, because I will get a Hyper212x and that is quite a tall and heavy cooler?

Looking for a CPU cooler that allows me to decently overclock my 4690k. Was looking at either a Corsair Hydro Series H55 or a Phanteks PH-TC14PE to fit in my Phantom 410 case. Any opinions or recommendations would help (£60 budget)

So, I got out of the idea to get a sexy X62 and decided that I rather go with an Air Cooler instead. And if I'm gonna get a cooler, it should be one of the best, and not $hit ugly. So, I did my research and end up with the decision to get a Noctua instead of a liquid AIO. But I got a problem with it, the silver color would definitely ruin colorschemes and the fans will definitely remind me of fresh and dried poop. Then I found out that back at Computex 2016, Noctua introduced Chromax Accessories and its totally not poopy at all. And I wondered when it was gonna release, checked their website, it says end of 2016. But 2016 already ended. http://noctua.at/en/noctua-at-computex-2016 I almost ruin my boner for these. But that won't falter until I ask them on twitter. They said Q3. Well, I'm gonna prepare for torches and pitchforks for now. You know, JUST IN CASE.

So im getting my first build and im using a NZXT s340 as my case but the only thing thats bothering me is the CPU cooler that ill get. Im going with an Intel Core i7 6700k alongside an EVGA GTX 1070 FTW and i dont know what kind of air cooler i should get that can keep up with the i7 6700k 's level (maybe even a small OC to like 4,2 - 4,3 GHz). Originally, i chose the Dark rock pro 3 because i had seen various forum posts and videos which prove it to be a good cooler but after some research i started to worry about the size and how it would fit in my case. After that i started searching for alternative coolers which were under the 100 Euro range and so my attention went to the Cryorig H7. That was the cooler i believed (and still believe) i should get for my build but am still not sure if its good enough for the i7 6700k. The H5 Ultimate was another alternative pick to the Dark rock since alot of people believe it to be a very good cooler and much better than the H7 but the thing is that the H5 Ultimate has a similar size to the Dark rock and im worried whether it would fit into my case (i had read some posts which said their Dark rock/ H5 Ultimate had barely fit in their s340 and that some people even needed to put force in order to close the case). To conclude, im asking whether i should stick to the Cryorig H7 for an i7 6700k in a NZXT s340 or get something else (opinions are always accepted). PS. I would also like to know if these coolers will have any conflict with the ram slots or GPU Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mHN3d6 Thanks for your time

And if I need to buy it myself which is the best? Hi everyone, I'm building a game pc and need help with the CPU cooler. I'm thinking of a liquid cooler but don't know if I can overclock enough. Are (high-end) air coolers better in OC then (high-end) liquid coolers? The CPU I'm going to overclock is the Intel core i5 7600K. My build: CPU: Intel core i5 7600K CPU cooler: ? Motherboard: Asus ROG strix Z270F RAM: Corsair vengeance lpx (3200MHz) 2 stick from 8GB SSD: samsung evo 960 500GB (pci m.2) HDD: WD blue edition 1TB GPU: Asus ROG strix gtx 1060 OC 6GB PSU: Corsair RM650x OS: windows 10 pro 64-bit Case: NZXT H440 Thanks in advance!

Hey all, I intend to overclock my system very soon, and as a result, want to purchase a beefy air cooler. I have a 6700k which I've been cooling with an intel stock cooler so far (i know, i know... burn me at the stake), but I obviously don't want this situation to remain this way. My case is an Antec Six-Hundred V2 and has a 280mm fan on top and as a result, doesn't have the space for an AIO water cooling radiator meaning my only choice is an air cooler. Don't really have limits on my budget for it. Not interested in custom water cooling. Im using low-profile Corsair vengeance LPX RAM so it shouldn't be causing any clearance problem with the cooler and i'm running it all on an msi z170a gaming m5 motherboard. What would you recommend ? I've been thinking of the Dark Rock Pro 3 but wanted to ask around before making a definite decision. Obviously the Noctua nh-d15 is the best cooler around but it is just.. so.. ugly. Got a black and red theme going out for most of my case so would like the air cooler to fit that general style. Also if I could get any help making sure the clearance for the front panel works fine ? Thanks in advance!

This guide will show you what air coolers are best for your money whether you want it as cheap as possible without it being a total "fire extinguisher practice zone" or whether you want liquid nitrogen alternative because N2 is expensive af. I made this comparison guide based off several charts and sites to give as accurate results as possible. This guide only compares temperature. Does not compare acoustic and aesthetics. Due to the fact different sites use different setup and stress testing method I will not be going over with specific numbers. Pricing might be different depending where you live so use it with caution. Will add more coolers later on. 1. Budget oriented These are coolers that does its job well for a relatively low cost. Cooler Master 212 Evo: The most popular cooler out there, decent performance. I will be using it as a base to compare it since there's gotta be a reason why it is so popular. Cooler Master Hyper 212X: An improved version of 212 Evo with lower temperature for a slight increase in price Cryorig H7: Very decent cooler, costs similar to 212X yet in some tests have better temps. Cryorig M9: Tiny cooler that packs a big punch. Good performance. On par with 212 Evo in some tests yet consistently costing lower. (a and i are the same, just different mounting brackets with i for intel and a for AMD). Raijintek Aidos: Performs on par with 212 Evo but costs less in some case. A very good cooler for budget builds. Deepcool Gammaxx 400: Good temps and good price. Some tests shows it can compete with some 120mm AIO like a Corsair H60. Enermax ETS-T40: Good cooler, similar performance with Cryorig H7. Price is a bit higher though. Enermax ETS-N30: Performance around 212 Evo range. Costs more in some case. be quiet! Pure Rock: Excellent performance in some tests, worst result was on par with a 212 Evo. be quiet! Shadow Rock 2: Not an excellent performance, better than 212 Evo by a bit, good to consider if price is extremely cheap. Intel BXTS115A: Bit higher temps than 212 Evo and costs slightly bit more. It's a stock cooler FFS. Wait what is it doing here? 2. Mid-range coolers Not too expensive yet still delivers a significant performance increase over budget ones. Cryorig H5 (see below for difference between Ultimate and Universal, same applies to H5): Good performance, good price. Beats out Dark Rock 3 below by a small margin. be quiet! Dark Rock 2: Good performance for its price. Nothing special. be quiet! Dark Rock 3: Good performance and price. Phanteks TC12DX: Very good performance, reasonable price. Noctua NH-D14: Good performance but not a good price. Noctua U12S: Similar performance to Shadow Rock Slim while costing more. Noctua U14S: Similar performance with D14 yet costs less in some case. Enermax ETS-50: Competing with Noctua NH-D15 in temps while having a very affordable price. Thermalright Macho Rev. B: Thermals done right. On par with D14. In some tests can match the performance of higher end ones Cooler Master V8 GTS: Unique looking design but not enough to be able to compete with high end cooler. Good performance but the price you are paying is mainly for aesthetic. Deepcool Gamerstorm Lucifer: Very good temperature, better than U12S in some tests (the Lucifer V2 is a slightly better version, they are almost identical). Price is reasonably low. Reeven Justice: Excellent performance for a really low price. Performance close to Cryorig R1. Scythe Fuma: Excellent performance for a really low price (deja vu). Temps seems to be higher than Cryorig R1 and Dark Rock Pro 3 a bit, in some tests even matching. 3. High-end Best coolers out there in temperature. Noctua NH-D15: Consistently being the best air cooler out there. On par with some 240mm AIO. Cryorig R1: The difference between Ultimate and Universal isn't much. Though for "ultimate" setup the R1 Ultimate would be cooler by few degrees but its design will make it little bigger than Universal (hence the name since it would be more easy to fit in with some large RAM or small cases). Phanteks TC14PE: Excellent cooler for its price. Higher temps than an R1 by few degrees. be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3: Loses to the above 3 in temps by few degrees. (however, it is one of the quietest cooler ever). Thermalright Le Grand Macho RT: Excellent performance, easily competes with Noctua NH-D15. Thermalright Macho Direct: Good performance with really good price. Deepcool Assasin II: Good temperature though price isn't really good. 4. Low-profile coolers: They deserve a separate spot because cooling a CPU with limited space is hard Cryorig C7: Not a good cooler if you plan to overclock. Did get thermal throttled in some tests. Noctua L9x65: It's a Noctua so it must be good? Not this. Good-average low profile cooler. Not so good in price. be quiet! Pure Rock Slim: A low profile cooler that can keep temps reasonably good, on par with Noctua L9x65. Price is good. Cryorig C1: Excellent performance for a low profile cooler with reasonable price. One of the best LP cooler. be Quiet! Shadow Rock Slim: Very good low profile cooler, the price is considerably low. On par with Noctua U12S. Deepcool Gabriel: Good performance for a low profile cooler. Price isn't too high. be quiet! Shadow Rock LP: A Low Profile cooler as the name states, very good performance and price, beating out L9x65 by a considerable amount.

I'm making a build with the 1800x, and it is time to decide on a cooler. I want to find a good cooler for around 24-50$ usd. I don't intend to overclock, and no water cooling. I don't like the design of the hyper 212 evo, and was wondering if there was a better option. If not that is okay, but I was just wondering. Thanks for the help.

Hello, I got myself a 7700K and an Asus Maximus RoG 8 Ranger - (170) I am going to update the Bios (for the first time ever) and I need help choosing a Cooler of any kind for my CPU I ve been looking Into BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3 and BeQuiet Silent Loop 240mm as well as BeQuiet Pure Rock 2 (does that one fit ?) After asking several Members via direct msg they suggested to open a new Thread. I have only mild overclocking in mind or none at all since I never overclocked anything other than my old GTX 970. Buying used is fine if it´s quiet and cool enough. Thank you for your help

I was wondering does anyone have any experience with the Noctua NH-D15 ? I'm planning on getting this cooler, what I notice is the cooler is so big that it's covering all the DIMM slots.... So I was wondering, if I were to access the RAM will I need to dismount the cooler ?? Based on pictures, doesn't seem like we can access the RAM if the cooler is installed. Whether when installing / uninstall RAM...and another thing is it difficult to remove the middle fan for cleaning once the cooler is installed on the Mobo and inside a casing ??

Hello all, I've noticed that my cpu, a i5-7600k running at stock speeds, is getting hotter than I would expect when gaming (80-81) and idle temps seem to high (38-45). I am using a Cryorig H7 tower cooler with the included fan and thermal paste to cool the CPU and a MasterBow Lite 5 with 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust. My gtx 1080 is a FTW so internal exhaust but it usually stays around 60 even when I play Ghost Recon at maxed settings in 1080p. I am using CPU ID hardware monitor to check the temps. This is my first build so its possible that I don't have the cooler or thermal paste applied properly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Specific case last night I was playing Ghost Recon for few hours and noticed my frame rate was going down to about 50 when its normally 65+ the side of my case was hot and the max CPU temps were 80+ on all 4 cores and the package. Thanks

Which is the best cooler master cooler for i5 8600k processor. I usually run at stock or light over clocking. Sometimes I might over clock at max. Which is better for my PC air cooler or liquid cooler. My budget is around 100-120$. Which cooler master air cooler or water cooler should I buy.

Hi everyone, I'd like to know is Cryorig H7 air cooler good enough to cool my upcoming Ryzen 7 1800X CPU? I heard a lot of people say that an AIO is a much better choice but I don't do overclocking and at the same time I try to avoid wasting more money spending for another cooler. Thank you.
