  1. Does anyone know why my game does this when i move the mouse? No other game does this for me 20200410_211153.mp4
  2. Yeah I did and it's not thermal throttling anymore but it's still averaging 95 degrees. I may try to get some high flow fans and removing the psu shroud like @Relayersuggested. Thanks for the help guys!
  3. So air is flowing from the red fan to the black. The GPU is exhausting air from the back and front and the intake is on the bottom
  4. I've just opened up my pc and turned it on and the gpu fans arent spinning up. Ive set them to 100% on msi afterburner but its not spinning at all
  5. Yup it is installed front to back
  6. I got a new PC and my GPU idles at around 70-80 degrees and my CPU idles around 60 degrees. I have 2 fans blowing air through the case and I'm using the stock heatsinks for the ryzen 5 3600 and MSI evoke 5700xt. My room doesn't feel hot and the air coming out the back of my PC isn't super hot either. I noticed it while playing borderlands 3 and my CPU usage was only at 20%-30% and my GPU was at 100 degrees. In the past 2 case fans and stock heatsinks have been fine so idk what the issue is here. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance
  7. yeah they work now
  8. Hi all, I recently plugged a USB device into my pc and it caused a power surge shutting down all the ports after. Since then I have restarted my pc and it works well now(although it did crash to shutdown while i was playing a game). my question is will there be any damages to any parts? I want to make sure that a component won't fail on me Thanks in advance !
  9. thanks guys! I'll ask my mates for their CPU
  10. Hey, so I bought an i5 7500 and a gigabyte h110m-h motherboard and it seems to be on a boot cycle powering off before the bios can come up and then re-powering on its own. I talked to the manufacturer and they said it's because the motherboard isn't fully compatible with the latest gen of cpus(not sure what that means). Is there a way to fix it without sending it back? Thanks in advance
  11. I currently have a GTX 770 because it went for cheap. If this is the reference card I'd like to make a custom heatsink for it. (I make heatsinks for various things)

  13. the 970 is aimed at 1440p gaming so on 1080p you would see great results.. well above 60fps in every game
  14. I know this is a weird question but is the intel stock heatsink airtight in it's original box to ensure the pre-applied thermal paste doesn't dry up? I got one a few days ago and I kinda opened it up but not gonna assemble it for a few more weeks, do I need to worry about it drying up?
  15. @ NationsAnarchy Here is australia it's a solid 130-150$ more and I don't have the budget for that. And yeh it might be just a bit overkill for 1080p haha
  16. Hey, I play games at 1080p and I'm looking into getting a new one, my two options are: r9 280x OR gtx 770? I really want physx, but what i hear is that the 3gb vram on the 280x may be a bit more sustainable for long term use as some games really do use more than 2gb of vram. Am I off base on that one and the extra 1gb doesn't matter at all? Thanks !
  17. @Hatsune Miku A bit, I haven't done it before so I probably won't push it far
  18. Hey, Would I be better off getting an AMD FX 6300 or Intel i3 4150 with a gtx 760 gpu? This machine is purely for gaming, no streaming or video rendering Thanks!
  19. I used be the "stupid" one when I talked to my friends anything about technology, and this channel, community and members have honestly been such a help for me to learn and grow a new passion for technology as a whole. Seriously, thank you LinusMediaGroup and every member on this site.. just thank you.
  20. Hey, can someone tell me how this system can handle 1080p at high to ultra settings? Like 30's or above 40's? I play games like Crysis, Borderlands, GTA, Bioshock, Battlefield, etc.. Processor- AMD FX-6300 6 core Mobo- ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 Ram- 8GB 1866MHz GFX- MSI R9 270x OR MSI R9 280x If anyone can recommend any better parts if you think it'll be better for my system please reply and also if going the extra $100 is worth for the R9 280X thanks in advance !
  21. I was looking to buy an R9 270 from my friend for a low price and was wondering if it will work with my PC, and if it does, if it will damage the GPU. I am definitely building a new PC in a few months but want to see if I can use it with my existing one at the moment, I don't care about damaging my current one as it's crap. I'm just worried about the card. I know it will bottleneck A LOT but I don't care as its not my daily driver. SPECS: - Intel core 2 duo e4500 - Asus P5BSE - 4gb 1066 ram - 200gb HDD - 300W PSU thanks for the help in advance (:
