Hi, i just completed building me second pc using msi x99a slip plus mobo. I tried updating the bios using msi live update and it ruin the bios. Luckily, this mobo have multi-BIOS switch. I'm trying to recover the failed bios using the suggested steps:
Preparation:
1. Prepare a bootable USB flash drive.
2. Download the latest BIOS file.
3. Copy the content into bootable USB.
Recovery steps:
1. Power off the computer.
2. Set the Multi-BIOS switch to the functional BIOS ROM.
3. Insert the bootable USB.
4. Boot the computer into the bootable USB.
5. Set the Multi-BIOS switch to the failed BIOS ROM.
6. Execute command to flash BIOS.
7. Restart.
How do i create a bootable USB drive for this case?

Hi LTT forumers, i previously oc'ed my i7-2600k to 4.4ghz, its been awhile now without any issues. But now when i monitor the temp with RealTemp i've noticed the frequencies jump from 4.4 to 5.9 ghz for a moment when load is less than 20%. Is this normal? i'm using offset to oc the cpu. The temp did reach around 55 degree. While ideal its usually sit around 37-43degree. I live in Malaysia and the temp here is quite hot around 36degree daily.
