  1. I use a bundled wireless optical mouse from logitech with a Microsoft Media Keyboard from 2008. Still going strong!!
  2. How many amps are needed to run 2 GPU's and a CPU? My CPU is an i5 4460 which is 84w. It's powered by a 12V CPU cable right? Using the formula P=VI (Power=Voltage*Current) --> (84/12=7), it would need 7 Amps to run. If the 2 graphics cards are 150 watts each, then assuming they have 12 volts delivered, P=VI (150/12=12.5) means they will need 12.5 amps each, totalling 25 Amps. 25+7=32 Amps to run the CPU and 2 GPU's My power supply has 2x 12 V rails with 24A on the first one and 20A on the second, and then it says 38A underneath both. Are both the CPU and the GPU's placed upon the first rail or are both utilized? Pls halp. Cheers.
  3. I've got a Be Quiet System Power 8 500w 80+ unit. I've got 1 pci-e cable that splits off into 8+8 pin connectors.
  4. Hey guys, If we're to get 2 rx480's and crossfire them, is it fine if I power both 6 pin connectors on the 2 cards with one 8+8 pci-e cable or does this require 2 separate cables?? I don't really wanna upgrade my PSU because I bought it 2 weeks ago :c Cheers
  5. Who won that bed from the cuddling competition?
  6. Is overclocking on that basically just turning up the clockspeed and core voltage or do you have to mess around with northbridge, etc.?
  7. This computer was given to me so I dont have the motherboard manual.
  8. Its a Gigabyte GA-965SP-S3. The website seems unclear though. It says it'll support the q6600 at Bios Ver F10. How do I know which Bios version I have and how do would I update it? Cheers
  9. Hey guys, I was wanting to get my brother an lga 775 cpu for his computer to replace his Core2 Duo E6420 for Christmas and was deciding whether to get him a Core2 Quad Q6600 or a Q8400. The Q8400 is newer and more power efficient and i think it has better performance but there is little information online about it if something were to go wrong. They're the same price and a lot more people seem to know a lot about the Q6600. Which CPU should I get? Thanks
  10. Hello guys, I was considering getting the enthoo pro. If I had the power supply cover on, would I be able to leave the power supply with the fan facing up or would it be too restrictive? I don't want to leave my power supply facing downward because it's on a carpet. Should I invest in a different case? Thanks
  11. Vacuuming a pc can create static buildup on the tip of the nozzle. A shortout maybe?
  12. If you're planning to upgrade to 16gb very soon, you may as well stick with one stick of 8gb ram. This allows the ability to upgrade to 32gb if you so desire.
