Hey everyone, I bought a new laptop (Asus ROG SCAR G531GU) i installed the latest windows on it(10pro: v1903), installed every driver available (correct ones, from asus website), and i can't change the brightness anywhere. I knew 3-4 places where i could change the brightness, but it seems like the bar disappeared from everywhere. Also, all of the hotkeys work(really, every hotkey), except the ones for brightness control. So here i am in my bed at night, staring at a supernova screen in the dark, please help me. Additional info: A keyboard driver is acting up, pic related. Myasus says, that its only for led lighting. Maybe it is the source of the problem? Also, there is a newer bios for this laptop. Should i start with that? -current one is 3 months old.

Thanks for everyone's input! (Don't want to quote everyone) I decided to throw some money in, and i found an s7 for 420 usd, which is a great deal here. Was thinking about the G6 as well, but its more expensive here, and the rewiews say that the dual camere hasn't improved that much. Thanks again!

So, noone is backing up the Xperia?

I really like the S7, but does it worth 100 dollars more?

Hey everyone, the title says it all. I live in Hungary, and my budget is around 350ish usd. I want to get a Xperia X performance for my money (365usd), but i saw a handful of good and bad reviews about the camera. (I know it can shoot 4k 30fps with a third party app, and there is a fingerprint sensor in this version) My main focus for the new phone is, to have the best camera for the pricerange, and a Snapdragon 820, or eqiv processor. (Exynos/Kirin) I looked at: Lg G5 (420 usd) HTC 10 (420 usd) Galaxy S7 (455 usd) I found Xiaomi MI 5s for around 300 usd, but i did not really like the reviews. My honeymoon is in 2 months, and i want to take the best photos and videos i can! I hope you guys can help me with choosing!

Hey all! I am considering to buy a new gpu, and as i was browsing, i found a pretty good deal on the sapphire card, but i noticed the same card, with another product number. The cards: -SAPPHIRE 11244-00-20G R9 390 8GB GDDR5 NITRO -SAPPHIRE 11244-01-20G R9 390 8GB GDDR5 NITRO The only difference is in the marked number. Can anyone tell me what changed, or is it worth the +50$? (I don't think so, but still curious) I tried to google it, but found nothing useful.

It seems that the 950m is the GDDR3 version, not the GDDR5. Still worth it? i mean it's still 65 dollars more, still going to be better, but not sure how much. I've red that its about 20% slover than the GDDR5 version. http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-950M.138026.0.html Any opinions?

Agreed, but wondering if it helps with Cad/Cam programs, i'm a civil engineer.
