when i try flashing the bios i just get a error mesage saying error ROM file size does not match existing Bios size. dosnt this mean that it is the wrong bios update?

does it mather that i am runing a windows 10 os.? it says bios-uefi for windows 8 (not for upgrades) on the website

Hello, i am currently trying to upgrade my friends acer predator g3620. it had an nvidia 620 inside and i am trying to put an 780 in there. it fits perfectly and i have upgraded the psu to a 750w. i have also moded the side panel with a extra fan to make upp for the extra heat. now the problems start. It boots just fine with the new psu and the OLD gpu. but when i try to install the 780 it will not boot i just see the acer screen then it beeps 1 time waits for 30 sec then it goes to a black screen with a blinking _ in the top right corner. i have read that acer may have done something in the bios to stop users from upgrading it? the pc was a win 7 but i have upgradad it to a win 10 to disable secure boot and this did not help. to be clear i cant disable secure boot in the bios just in the msconfig. dont know if this will help? now i am currently stuck and dont know how to get past it. can anyone help? the MOBO name is just acer predator g3620 and it is bios version: American Megatrends Inc P01-A1 date 3/12/2012 if anyone can come upp with a fix i will be a very happy man.

ok nevermid i had to download one game so that steam would create the common folder where it puts the games by default. then all i just had to put all the files inside that folder

well then it seems like i have put them in the wrong place. could anyone tell me where the files should be located i though it should just be in the common folder like it was before the wipe

Hey guys, i need some help. i want to know if it can be done at all how i make steam find the game files for steamgames. i recently had to do a fresh install of windows 7. before i did though i copied my folder with all my steam games( all 800gigs) and put them on an external hard drive. then when i had re installed windows 7 i installed steam and put the folder back where it should be in the steam files. but i need to know how i can make steam find the files so i can launch the games through steam. i really don't want to download them all again it will take me weeks with the state of my internet

but if you guys have bether experience with a mod mic i might be willing to try it out if it doesn't get to expensive with a stand and all

Hello guys, i am looking for a new pair of headphones. basically i am looking for something with a microphone and something that can use the power of my xonar essence stx. i have been looking at the new sennheiser g4me zero. and i am wondering if they are any good. if not i am looking for headphones about this price range. i need something for all uses but most off all music and movies, since i believe that headphones that are good for music and movies will be good enough at most games anyways correct me if i am wrong tough.

I bought the amp and the sub in a set that was on sale even got some speakers with it for just 459$ pretty sure they work together since evetything is pioneer the firm i bought it from is big on this kind of stuff will most likley sell the speakers . I will also figure out if i like the new or old sub bether then sell one of those to But anyways thank you for the help this is the reason why this forum is my first choice

actually most of my setup is pioneer just came to think of it^^ i might as well just order the amp and a new sub in a sett then since it is just 20$ more with the sub x) do i have to worry about the amp not being able to output enought watt to my speakers since i have 2x350w 2x550w and a 1200w sub?

i see the power of that amp is insane! i just wonder why is it so much cheaper? have they used worse components, is the build quality bad or is pioneer just cheaper over all? i found a package with that amp for a really nice price, so it is really tempting but i wanna know for sure

I would love to see that amp you speak of. The last amp died because it was to small and i tried to pull way to much power out of it but still, it lasted almost a year. The amp i found is powerfull enought. i just want to se if any of you clever people could save me some money

They are pretty treble happy to be honest. But my problem with them is that i cant hear them too well over the speakers in the back. If i try to adjust it i am affraid i will blow them.

well i had an JBL GTO 504 and it looks like it didnt like my new speakers, there is no power coming out if the ports anymore. they are all dead but my fuses are all fine, the AMP even smells fried x) soo loks like i have to geta new amp any recommendations? will get back to you guys on the speakers just know there are 2 in the front 350w 2 in the back 550w and a 12" jbl sub dont remeber the watt/rms on the sub

I am going to check for wire chortages today and hope to god thats it. I didnt install the system my uncle did and he does it for a living. The speakers, sub anf amplifier are all boltet or screwed in place and every wire is fastened with cable ties. Shall be interesting to see what is wrong when my uncle looks at it today thanks for the feedback

Hey, i know this site isn`t usually for car stuff but i seem to have a problem with my speakers and sub in my car or rater the whole stereo. it worked perfectly earlier today, but when i started the car when i was leaving for a friend of mine the stereo was totaly silent, not a sound, no buzz no nothing, exept sometimes there is this really loud bang, then a burning type of smell. is it most likley that it is a lose/ burned of wire somewhere or might it be a grounding issue. i know that my amplifier gets power since it lights upp properly but from there everything is dead. please help, i really hope it isnt ruined. spent to much money on it already. thank you in advance and sorry for my poor explaintation and english.

well the main reason is that i cant load a youtube video and play LoL because of the 1000 ping i get... thats why we got the router set upp to have my family on the limited line wile i play on the non limited one so i always have some bandwith for the game even if they are downloading stuff. so would like to be on the limited line and watch a stream while i play LoL on the other unlimited one if you get what i am trying to explain.. i am bad at explaining things in english x)

well after a long day at school and almost no sleep the night before i came home to a package containing my AX 760 PSU. i hurried to put it in and the pc would boot for a couple of seconds the go into a constant restart cycle after about 20 minutes i realized i had forgot to put in the 8 Pin at the top of the motherboard -_-

that and my internett isnt the best anyways but i cant really drag a TP trought 2 floors and a loot of closed doors... and i wasn`t allowed to make holes for the cable eighter :o but still it would be cool if i could drag a cable and set that line to do just some of my games and the other(limited one) to do a stream or something like that, guess i was just dreaming of a easy solution to my bad internett :/

Hey guys, at home i have 2 diffrent nettworks going of the same router so that i can play while the rest of the family is watching videos or streaming (just putt a limit on how much the rest of the family can use of the broadband) :D .. and since i also have 2 wireless cards in my computer i was wondering if it is possible to dedicate one connection to f.eks google chrome and the other to a specific game? if it is can anyone write down a simple step by step guide on how to do it?
