  1. Yeah, get a 280x, the 2gb vram is ridiculous on the 960, all the new games are using about 3 or more gigs but if it's a 4gb card for 180$ grab 2!
  2. Bundled psus are usually very bad, get a separate one
  3. You're going to hold it back by about 10%
  4. Just noticed that it's not pcie 3.0, with 2.0 you're going to hold back the second card, i suggest to just change mobo if your budget is 600-700 and then getting a 280x or wait for the r9 300 series, specifically the r9 380/x which will have performance similar to the 290x but it's probably going to be cheaper and more efficient
  5. Actually we are talking about crossfire here and not sli and his mobo supports crossfire but my main concern of running two 280x's is the power supply, you'll probably be fine with that but get a better one..and getting another 280x is the best choice right now imo
  6. gaming is more important, don't rma it, do it after finishing the game! It's an order from Gaben!
  7. Save and get an i5 but i think you won't have too many problems with the fx-6300
  8. Yeah, he will upgrade to the 4690k later but i think he will stay with the 4160 for around a year
  9. Thanks to everyone i think i'll get the 4160 with the z97 pc mate from msi
  10. So i guess the title says it.. My friend wants to do a build for around 700€, and i think the fx-6300 is the best option so i wanted to know if it will bottleneck a gtx 970 or should i go for the i3-4160? Thanks, bye
  11. Everybody says so but i asked around and people say that they don't notice problems while playing with the 780 ti instead with the 970 i've seen people getting problems when getting in the 0.5gb partition... The price is around the same..
  12. So here i am with yet another video cards topic... Last time i wanted to get an r9 290/x but didn't because the fact that they are 2 year old, really it's annoying for me since i want to keep my next video card for 2 years.. I'm going to play on a single 1080p monitor, the budget is 320 € as of right now and i found a gtx 780 ti at that price..but i found a 970 for 330 (gigabyte) so i really don't know what to choose, help me decide, please? My main concern here is vram what i think is that the 970 has 3.5gb+0.5gb vram and if i get on the slower 500 mb vram it's going to give me problems whereas if i hit more than 3 gigs on the 780 ti it's going to use the system memory and not give me problems? I am really confused, i need help lol Thanks in advance
  13. If you get a 50$ case you will be at around 720$ which is only 20$ more than your budget and it's a pretty nice pc, i would get the r9 280x but you said no amd... EDIT: sorry forgot the link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/C7yNjXdon't know what happened with the double post D:

  15. The 4790k is better than the 4770k but not worth the 50€ imo
  16. I have already seen it on vessel, i would like to get a thread as soon as it's available on vessel, not on youtube

  18. Hey guys, i have an enthoo pro and i really can't see much inside my pc (i have no led fans..) if there's no light so i thought to get an led strip like the one that linus made a video on. I have a black and blue scheme and i wanted to get blue leds but won't they make everything look blue? So i thought let's get white leds, will they enhance the color of the hardware or should i just get blue ones? Thanks in advance see ya
  19. Why don't you make threads when they come out on vessel? Anyway loved the video there. I want to see the r9 390x against the titan x come on amddd

  22. I meant that razer keyboards are fine just get the ones without their switch and the ultimate is ultimate only because of the backlighting i think, so just get the one that you like that fits your budget.
  23. I have the ultimate cherry mx blue version, it's awesome! Their software is not great but it's not that bad
  24. Just get the cm g750m or a good corsair power supply
