  1. Short leg is the rear leg... the other two should be the same length.
  2. Just use a Vesa mount, all the copper is on the stand.
  3. Nice obsidian 900D case. I love mine
  4. I would recommend checking out the Widescreen Gaming game database for games you are interested in. http://www.wsgf.org/mgl
  5. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good boom arm to attach to my desk for a blue yeti mic?
  6. Just got a new NAS and a bunch of new WD Reds now normally I would test the drive for bad sectors after installing it in my system and then put it into useage. If I just plug the new HDD into the fresh NAS (TVS-463) will it do this process for me before it tries to setup the RAID I want or should I still do that externally before plugging them into the NAS?
  7. I am in the Los Angeles area, would anyone have any recommendations as far as places to test a good range of headphones? preferably with my own source for audio if possible.
  8. So I was looking at the QNAP TS-453 pro turbo and was thinking it would be nice to have a 10gb port for the future and maybe to make better use of the SSD caching feature later on. However the model they included the option on they went AMD and made some minor design changes thus bringing it to the TVS-463. Now I have heard a bit that since they went away from the more ventilated trays that people have been having heat issues. Has anyone experience this or had any problems with the switch from intel to AMD platform?
  9. I live 40 min away from a Micro Center if you are talking the places called Micro Center and not just stores like them like Fry's Electronics (which I am also near).
  10. So a HDD failed and I NEED the data off of there but when looking at data recovery options there seem to be lots but of course some seem more shady than others and I was just wondering what peoples personal experiences with these services are and any recommendations people might have.
  11. I am looking for a small business NAS most likely getting a 4 bay one and I have narrowed it down to QNAP or Asustor. I have some friends that have used QNAP ones but I do not know anyone that has used an Asustor so I thought some people here might have some feedback on those. As far as QNAP I am eyeing a TS-X53 Pro and as far as Asustor I am looking at the AS510XT. Also as far as the drives I am either getting WD reds or the HGST NAS drives aiming for 4-6 TB whichever is the highest the NAS can handle.
  12. Well I would say if it is wired try more in the 200 dollar to 300 dollar range, if it is wireless im up for going a bit higher. As far as amps and DACs are concerned, if I need one for surround audio (virtual surround whatever) I would need recommendations on those as well. If the amp and DAC in the wireless headphone setup are good, I have no problem using those. These would pretty much be strictly for hooking up to my PC, console or TV. Basically for around my desk and bed, not out and about headphones.
  13. Well wireless would be nice but not absolute. If a pair is nearing the 500 buck range I would like them to have wireless as that is hefty for a pair of headphones without extra stuff. Would the M50x headphones be good for games if you paired them with a good DAC or soundcard for virtual surround? Not familiar with the benefits of open or closed backs but I would like to be able to have it where if there is outside noise it wouldn't really come through the headphones and if I am blasting something it's not obnoxious to anyone near my room. Also the Krakens seem like they score high in sound at times because of the heavy bass which is what I want to avoid, while I do like a strong bass it needs to be balanced.
  14. Ok so I am looking for some over ear headphones (headsets work also but i don't really need the mic so it would just be something I wouldn't really use. Also over ear cause on ear hurt after awhile) but I haven't ever really bought headphones so I could use some recommendations. Here are some things I am looking for. Top of the list has to be audio quality the sound has to be balanced well with good headroom on the volume (no bass boxes please that pump the bass and make it overshadow everything else). Surround sound compatibility would be nice (if a great pair of headphones requires a amp/dac or soundcard for that I would like recommendations on those as well). Wireless would be nice as long as it keeps the quality and the charging is easy to keep up (looking at you steelseries h-wireless with your swappable battery packs). They don't need to be super cheap as I am willing to pay for quality but nothing thats higher than 500 bucks if possible unless they are far and above every other possibility. Extra bells and whistles would be good but those are the main things I am looking for. If anyone could help with this I would be very grateful. Thanks.
  15. AMD really need to keep this guy from getting in front of a camera or making public statements. It is getting embarrassing.
