My first Lego set since I was 11 (22 years ago). Discovery Shuttle, bigger and took longer to build than I thought. I might get my partner to 3D print some sort of wall mount.

For the past few months my PC has been sporadically crashing / blue screening while playing games or immediately after quitting games. The error code indicated it was the graphics card, graphics driver or a power issue with the card. All drivers up-to-date / reinstalled, the PSU is new and appears to be working fine - after more googling we had decided that my Asus Strix 1080 was the issue. So I got myself a 3080 Ti FE. This did not solve the crashing. When we went to test the RAM my partner noticed (in BIOS) the RAM timings were set wrong and that XMP was off. Turning XMP on appears to have fixed the crashing. I guess I now have a 3080 Ti and can sell my 1080 as working.

I've recently gotten into woodworking, and while I've bought a bunch of tools my latest is my favourite. It's a Stanley No.60 ½ [G12-060] Block Plane (Often called a 6 ½ / 060 ½) it's compact, sharp and goes through wood like a hot knife through butter.

Editing film photography - how should I go forward?
Chrisokane replied to Alexcalibur's topic in Photography and Videography
I bulk scan with my scanner and edit in Lightroom. I then 'scan' my favourites using my DSLR and edit in CaptureOne. When editing my film scans I usually just correct white balance & colour tones (try to let the film do its thing), exposure (usually because the scan was underexposed not the negative itself). Trying to never overdo it, keeping it as close to how it either was or how I imagine it was. -
Got Yu-Gi-Oh Millennium World 1-7 Manga. On my way to completing my Yu-Gi-Oh Manga collection, just Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist 6-24 left to get. And after 10 months of waiting my Kotobukiya Yu-Gi-Oh Dark Magician figure finally arrived, I'm happy but the overall finish and quality is weirdly not as good as Kotobukiya's Yugi figure even though it costs more - Yugi wasn't even as good as Kotobukiya's Ikemen line which a have 3 of and love.

These look nice. I just googled Donau welle, it looks very familiar I think I've had it when I was in Munich or Nuremberg.

I like to bake cakes, scones & biscuits etc. Does anybody else bake? If you like to bake show it off.

My partner @ANDuff and I adopted this good girl from our local rescue. Her name is Xena, she is a Collie x German Shepherd mix. Approx 1 year old when we got her 2 months ago, she's very playful and had next to no training.

Past experience isn't all that important, it's how you use it. With experience it is very easy to get stuck in a rut and just do what you know. I know alot of photographical technical stuff and how to do certain shots, but I often just do the typical boring shot... I'd take a new creative idea over my 20+ years of experience.

Fuji X100f is a great walk around small camera, should add the newer X100V to the list.

Film; Canon FTb - Canon 28mm 2.8FD - Canon 50mm 1.8FD Nikon S3 - 50mm 1.4 S Mount Nikon F3HP Digital; Fuji X100F Nikon D7000 Nikon D750 Lenses in the Sig While I do have quite a variety of gear I do use everything when the right occasion comes, tho the Nikon F3 & D750 get the most use. I have been primarily using film since 2016. 20+ years of experience but only as a serious hobby. My experience does not always yeild great things, still always learning. First started with my dad's Practica when I was 6/7 ish.
