  1. The issue with that is that I don't turn my computer off.
  2. Will try that the next time my monitor is off for a prolonged period of time. Have you got any idea what's causing it to not receive a signal in the first place?
  3. Hello, I've recently purchased the AOC U2868PQU monitor, which I connected to my graphics cards via Display port. It works perfectly up to the point where I turn off the monitor for a prolonged period. When I turn the monitor back on after it says it's not receiving any signal trough DP. I don't think connecting the monitor via a different port is an option seeing as it's a 4k monitor and I would like to get the 60 FPS in games in stead of the 30 I would get if I connect it via HDMI. It starts to work again after I re-plug the DP cable, however I would like to find another solution if that's possible. Has anyone got a solution for this? Best Regards, Hexicidal.
  4. The thing I like the most is the massive resolution as well as the design. I think they nailed it. I'm a huge fan of the HTC One M8 design, but I'm certain that this would be the second best compared to the HTC One M8.
  5. My favorite thing about the new HTC One (M8) is the fact that they improved the looks of it. I really like the fact that they increased the percentage of metal used to 90% which makes the phone even sturdier, I hope! I like how the sides now wrap around the phone as well. I like the fact that it has been increased in size a little bit as well. I currently own a HTC One Max which is a lot bigger than the HTC One (M7), but I felt that the HTC One (M7) was a little bit too small for me which is why I went with the HTC One Max. I think that the HTC One (M8) sits somewhere in the middle, which is perfect for me.
  6. Ahh, that's a lot better. It's not possible to see the range of that card is it?
  7. Alright, just wondering how are you able to see that it's better? And is it possible to see the possible range with this card? Thanks again. :D
  8. Any recommendations for a wireless desktop adapter for my desktop? And thank you for both your replies so far.
  9. I checked, I have N. I'll try to find a tutorial on how to change to G.
  10. Well the issue would be that my parents don't want to route the cable upstairs, because it'll take a lot of time and they don't want "messy cables" running trough the living room. I tried to explain them numerous times, but their not listening. So I suppose I'll have to stick to wireless, unfortunately.
  11. I'm sorry to ask you this, but how do I check if I'm using G? And I suppose it's a bit of both, there are a lot of people in my neighborhood using wireless, I have counted around 15 available networks. And it's a weak signal seeing as I have a good signal downstairs, with 50 MB download and 10 - 15 upload (speedtest) and once I go upstairs the signal weakens and I receive high pings.
  12. Hello. I have a bit of an issue. I'm building a new PC at the moment, and I've almost got anything ready, however I forgot to think about a WiFi desktop adapter for my PC. I need one since it's impossible to route a cable to my room, since I live in the attic, meaning that the router is located two floors down with 2 floors (or more depending on how a WiFi signal spreads in a house). I can't even properly be on my laptop, I have a low signal when I'm there, and it's nearly impossible to Skype call with someone seeing as I disconnect once every while due to signal loss. Hence why, I'm looking for advice on the best desktop adapter to get, and I'm willing to spend money. I've heard of WiFi Range Extenders as well, do they work? And is it smart to get one along side a good WiFi Desktop Adapter as well? I however live in the Netherlands, so I can't get products that are only available to US Citizens, hopefully this isn't an issue. Would anyone be kind enough to help me? EDIT: I've found two cards that are available in my country: #1: D-Link Xtreme N PCI Express Desktop Adapter DWA-556 (three antennas) #2: D-Link Xtreme N PCI Express Desktop Adapter DWA-566 (two antennas) Best Regards, Hexicidal.
