  1. Does anyone know if the mounting hardware for the Phanteks PH-TC12LS will fit the PH-TC14S too? Thanks!
  2. What air flow? I really don't think the PSU struggles to breathe because a flew cables somewhere in front of it. My problem is that nothing is pushing fresh air in. Cables in general aren't that big of an issue: 140 mm on the back is impossible, as you can see in the pics, the space between the 120mm mounting hole and the I/O shield is very limited. So any opinions on a fan?
  3. Hello guys, I have my new PC all nice and built inside an Raijintek Metis, you can see some photos and the parts on PCparpicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/RxzMnQ, but I'm having a problem, temps. In my current setup I get while running Furmark and Aida's CPU stress test 69 C on CPU and 80-83 C on GPU. (While stressing only the CPU it doesn't go over 63 C) I'm pretty sure that going with a PH-TC12LS and a back fan as intake will considerably lower my temperatures as I can feel the air not moving in the case, has no fans to move it, of course it doesn't. Now I want to keep the sound low, what would you guys recommend as a decent air mover that looks ok (black would be nice) and maybe has PWM (the Asus MB handles DC also but PWM might be better for higher flexibility) Also I'd like not to spend 30 dollars on a fan. Hope you guys can give me some good advice. Thanks Edit: The fan has to be 120 mm!
  4. Dude, you are one lucky guy. I want to get one for my friend. Her S3 is awful, battery needs to be charged a couple of times a day, even after its a brand new one; it's been dropped and generally looks like shit... her fault but still, we got her some nice Razer Hammerhead ... when I see her using them with that phone I want to take them back! Any tips?
  5. Very nice build, glad i found it! I'm going to build something in a Metis, too, but not even close as good. You deserve a good beer!
  6. I'm looking for the same thing. ITX, very quiet, sufficiently powerful and small, good looking as much as possible. Here is what I came up with: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BTf43C The CPU cooler will be fan-less helped by the PSU fan and the back fan should be switched for intake, as there's a filter for it and it's stupid to use it as exhaust and leave the front vents (not filtered) for intakes, it should also be hooked up to the CPU_FAN header and PWM controlled for better acoustics. (I'm currently trying to find if smaller fan-less heat sinks that will do adequate job) The motherboard is best price for features as far as I know, AC WIFI, mSata, good sound solution, decent I/O. From my pov msata is important as I'll get rid of 2 extra cables vs a classic SSD, plus when prices go down I can get something like a HyperX Predator msata. Zotac was the smallest GTX970 with dual fan cooling. PSU was silent, powerful enough and cool looking. What do you guys think? (Parts may change) Shouldn't we ask for a video like this? Really small, powerful and silent.
  7. I can't really find any of them, they are pretty much MIA... What do you thimk about Enermax UCCL12 Cluster?
  8. Hi, all, so i have this cooler: http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=190 and this case: http://www.zalman.com/global/product/Product_Read.php?Idx=618 I haven't, yet, bought a fan for the cooler, a 120mm will fit and i would very much like it to have PWM and maybe LEDs or for it to look nice. My upper price point is a Noctua NF-F12, which i would buy if it wouldn't look like arse, the window is positioned perfectly to show it off. (My color scheme is pretty much black and blue, but red or white would not bother me) Recommend me something nice please!
  9. Thank you for the suggestions, they're around my budget and look great, but its that stupid USB 3.0 header... or lack of, that is a deal breaker, with the Z5+ I don't have ti change the MB to get front USB 3.0 With the CPU cooler I don't want to spend much at all, but I think the two I pointed out will give some improvement, the stock cooler spins at about 3000+rpm the ones from Deepcool 1600rpm. I'll let you know how they handle. I'll put some pics up when i get them.
  10. <I am sorry I don’t have pictures yet.> So, I have a: + FX6300 (stock cooler, very loud) + MSI G55 + Sapphire 7850 + Kingstone Predator X + WD green 1TB (i got it 1/2 price) + A-data SX-9000 128Gb + OCZ Fatal1ty 550W This guy sits as of the time i bought him in a crappy case, I got some money and want to get a nice case and a CPU fan. This is what i plan ok getting: - Zalman Z5 Plus Keep in mind that in my country its best price is of about $80 (which is a lil bit more than i wanted to spend and my MSI has no header for USB3.0 (this annoyed me like crazy when i realised), so this case has a good solution for that) - Deepcool GAMMA BLADE or GAMMA ARCHER, not sure which would look better, black would look stealthy, blue would fit the RAM (I know its a small cooler, but i just need a silent one for now, I’ll see later on!) What do you think? I would love some constructive criticism. Thanks! PS my hole build cost about $850 (I repeat in my country, Romania)

    Project ZOE

Looks like Italian supercars! But what do you do if you need to connect Ethernet cable or 7.1 speakers? It would look pretty messy to bring them down from the top, unless you can route it like you did with the HDMI, that was a nice solution. Anyway, great job! How many hours did you put in it?
  12. Good stuff, but pretty basic for me, as I already had all of them set up right for speed. But thank you!
  13. I saw the Behind the scenes video, with the Crazy Russian & B-Flex, and the said that the bootup time with their rig, from pushing the button, was about 12 seconds, on a MSI mother board and a Kingston SSD. My question was: "I NEED to know, how did you manage 12 sec start up, I also have a MSI board, a MSI 990XA GD55 with an AMD FX6300 and an A-data SX900, it takes like 40-45 seconds to start up. It takes about 35 seconds to finish with the BIOS load. Are there some settings? I want faster bootup. Thanks!" The Russian (I think) sent me here to you guys. The times i wrote are from the top of my head I timed about 3 months ago. I could do some new tests and write exactly but the difference is too big to require something like that. Ideas? Thank you!
