  1. Just checked. "Cannot detect any VGA card or VGA card test fail" - Asus website. Looks like I may need to send my card off for repair EDIT: it boots perfectly fine sometimes though so it may be a bad connector port on the card.
  2. I was having issues with my pc when I was using a VGA connector where the PC would only boot occasionally (no beeps).I thought by switching to a DVI connector it would solve the issue but I am now getting 1 long bleep followed by 3 short.can someone please advise? Thanks
  3. Uninstalled all gpu drivers and reinstalled them. I have also cleaned contacts and it has not worked.
  4. As long as it was purchased from Novatech you will be fine
  5. Tried all of what you listed apart from cleaning PCI-E contacts and none of it has worked. I will give it a try soon. Thanks
  6. Yep. I was pretty happy until I found it to not work in my system haha.
  7. Eventually. It just shows no signal to monitor lots of times when it doesnt boot to OS. all case fans are working though
  8. Yeah, It does only have 3.5GB of usable VRAM Haha
  9. I recently sent my GTX 760 for repair and was sent a GTX 960 as a replacement. Ever since the gtx 960 has been in my system it wont always boot. I literally have to reset it up to 15 times every time i want to go on my computer. Specs: CPU: FX 8320 (@4.3) - Tried stock speeds also RAM: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 2x4GB 1600 - Tried 1333 speeds also PSU: EVGA 600B HDD: 1 X 1TB 1X2TB MOBO: ASUS M5A97 R.20 I have also tried checking all cables and everything there is ok. Please can someone advise? Thanks EDIT: What I have tried so far: Re seating RAM and testing individual sticks 1 at a time Updating to latest motherboard BIOS (2603) Changing PCI slot for GPU
  10. Thanks for the help. How would this power supply be? http://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-Supernova-850W-Power-Supply/dp/B00LM1V0EQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1436797043&sr=1-3&keywords=850w+power+supply
  11. I am able to pick up an R9 290 for £180 which is a really good deal so i might end up getting 2. I was just wondering which power supply I will need as these cards consume lots of power. Would a quality 850w psu be enough?
  12. I have also noticed that I am getting quite a few crashes when playing GTA 5
  13. I am using an EVGA 600B power supply.
