  1. Haven't seen much on it, but nVidia just released a new $40 card, called the GT710, definitely not the best option, but definitely on. I'd say your best bet is to find something used on eBay or Craigslist. You'd be able to get a much nicer AMD GPU for $60-$80 on either of those sites compared to the GT710.
  2. I went with the blue carbon for the black of my iPhone 6 and the black for the front. Not really sure how it is going to look, but black and blue is my favorite color scheme.
  3. Thanks! Feel bad for a friend who bought his about a week ago, knew there was some reason I should wait. :DDD
  4. When I first built my rig, I went with a Raidmax Viper GX which was recently switched out for a Corsair 450D. Other than that, none of the colors of my build matched, has been changed since.
  5. There are a lot of cool projects on instructables.
  6. Typically only private schools require a uniform, which I love because I attend a public school. Right now my school starts at 8am and goes until 2:05pm, so about 6 hours (unless you take a seventh period, which would add another 1.5 hours). In terms of atmosphere, everyone is pretty nice, though that might just be my school because everyone is fake as f**k. I've found that in a lot of movies and shows about high school, they all depict the football players and cheerleaders as bullies or backstabbing meany-butts, though the only people that give me shit are the people I am around daily. That's just my school, where everyone is the son or daughter of some executive at a large tech company (i.e. Intel or Corsair). My hometown is literally called "the bubble" by surrounding cities because we don't have stabbings or other violent crimes, and when something does happen, it's quickly swept away because all of the plastic mocha-drinking Range Rover driving stay-at-home moms cry about it for a week or two then forget about it and it's back to Yoga or pilates (is there a difference?). Someday I would like to check out another school in a not as rich area to see what it's like. Rant over.
  7. I don't see why an anti-static bag and a lot of bubble wrap would hurt the motherboard, the original foam would probably be preferred by the company though. Also, don't forget the little black plastic piece that came in the CPU socket when you first opened the box.
  8. Yeah Razer makes some decent product, but after buying a couple keyboards and mice from them, I've found they are really over priced.
  9. Cool, thanks guys. I will definitely check out a community college, and thanks for the info regarding why the price of the Cisco certifications is highly priced!
  10. I am a student in High School and over the summer I worked with the IT department of my school as a volunteer. So far I have learned a lot about running a decent sized network, but am still looking into expanding my knowledge. I looked into some of the certifications that Cisco offers, which linked me to a couple courses. The courses cost anywhere from $300 to $1,000. To anyone who has been through this process and is either a student or has taken the classes and works in IT, is there another way to receive the same or similar education without the large price tag? Thanks a lot! Also, if this is in the wrong area on the forums, just let me know.
  11. IMO, it shouldn't be legal. Just a personal belief.
  12. I made the mistake of talking about a whole bunch of computer stuff she didn't understand. Plus she was popular and I'm a nerd.
