  1. I'm guessing you had to put grills on all the fans because of all those cables Questions: What mobo? What GPU? Storage? Here's an updated photo of the cables. Most of the display and USB extensions are routed along the lid.
  2. I've got grills on all three case fans and filters on the intakes. I've managed to clear the cabling well enough so that the fans don't contact them, but you're right, the idea was to use them to make sure. It's currently only using the integrated graphics on the G3258, but I have been looking into using a PCIe extension to add a GPU in the future. The PCIe slot is currently tucked right behind the case fans at the bottom of the case, so I'll have to work on getting a solution sorted. The motherboard is just a little MSI B85I and the storage is a HyperX 120GB SSD.
  3. Hi, I've been working on a custom case for the last two months and thought I'd share some of the progress photos and final build. As a side note, the build is powered by a little G3258 and temps only reach 50 degrees at load. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions
  4. Tried it with just the one cable and the VGA LED came on solid. Plug the other back in and it went away. Looks like I'll shop around for a set of cables.
  5. Im using a GTX 970 G1 Gaming from Gigabyte. Should be okay?
  6. Recabling, currently using two cables that both have 2x8pin ends on them. Can I use one cable in a GPU that needs an 8 and a 6 pin connection?
  7. Thanks for the quick reply! I have 4 slots, so it might just be better to get the 2x4 and still have room to upgrade? Thanks again.
  8. I'm in the market for RAM for a new build and was looking at the Hyper X Fury 8Gb options. Am I best to pick up 1 x 8Gb or 2 x 4Gb, and will I have any problems adding 8 more Gb in the future to the single channel configuration?
