  1. I would love to get my Dad a moto 360 for Christmas, He loves stylish watches but isn't too tech savvy I think that a smart watch would change his mind. 8. Should I buy an aftermarket cooler or will this be fine since i am not overclocking.
  9. Hi so I recently bought a I5 4570s and it runs at around 75-80 on load and the stock fan stays silent is this a problem, should I get a aftermarket cooler?
  10. This build is just over 900(CAD) and it is something that is built with the sole purpose of 1080p gaming. I do recommend getting an SSD but for me I see it as something that isn't essential for your PC and just grab one on sale when you have the spare cash. You might change the case around but I absolutely love the look and price of the SPEC 01. This is a locked processor so the stock cooler will be fine. Overall with that 290x you are well set off to play very demanding games at 1080p, it will even manage 2k and will play on 4k. Two things to note this is from Canada and if you live in America you will get better prices and I think you might be able to squeeze in a 4690k in and a decent cooler. This build does not include the OS and your are going to have to cough up another $100 for it. I think this is pretty solid and if someone wants to add any corrections to this feel free. My current build motherboard is not mine friend is letting me borrow his motherboard. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/fPfJGX

  15. Well all of my parts are used except for the RAM and the WD hdd and they seem to be working fine I think for like an additional $10 I can get 1 year in store warranty.
  16. Yea I know I was confused too at the beginning appreciate all the help I found this board at the clearance center thoughts? http://www.memoryexpress.com/Clearance/Item/4c25ff7e-5a97-480c-b2ce-5ef9ff47e648
  17. I agree with this because you can always go back for the SSD and just nab one whens its on sale for a very cheap price
  18. Do I loose any SSD speeds from buying an h81 or b85 board?
  19. All im looking for is atleast 3 SATA 6/gbps ports because of my SSD and 2 HDD's (I use one for games and the other for videos, photos, music) The ram isnt really a problem for me as by the time 16gigs of RAM becomes current I think it would be time for me to upgrade anyways this would look like the closest h81 option for me as its relatively close to where I live and no M.I.R. http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX50048
  20. Thanks and either way I would have to fill out an MIR for the MSI one and the ASrock one seems to have more features Im just not sure about the brand however. I've had an A88xm MSI board that just died on me thankfully I got it replaced without having to RMA.
  21. @Lotus thanks a lot so you would recommend that asrock board, I personally have no experience with them but they seem to be a alright brand not as reputable as ASUS or Gigabyte. Should I invest in Neweggs replacement plans?
