  1. Hello, i am currently making the switch to wireless peripherals as my 2 cats keep munching on the cables. I was going to either get a pair of HyperX flight or wait for the new flight S but i want to see other "non-gaming" headphones options since i have a solid stand alone mic already. On a other note i have a pair of airpods pros and they keep just disconnecting so its really annoying ... i have other bluthooth decive connected tho did not investigate. 200$~ Wireless (pref not blutooh unless really good) A plus if mic can be removed but not necessary For reference i own the following cans Hyperx cloud, beyers DT 770 pro and AKG k612 pro Thanks
  2. i mean my budget was originally planned for both a 3900x and a 2080s i will most likely keep the 3900x tbh but i was wondering if a 2070s would be enough for my needs performance wise i def will not bother with selling with upgrading later too much of an hassle to me and i am lazy i would rather buy once and be done with it
  3. Thanks for the reply! Is it really ? I mean i plan to keep the same cpu for about 4-5yrs and since i am planing to do both streaming and video editing i figure i'd go for the higglher core count if there's no performence diffrence in those 2 applications i don't mind switching
  4. Thanks for the reply i forgot to mention i have a g-sync monitor so unless the 5700xt allows me to still use that functionnality that would be a no go for me thanks for your input though!
  5. Hello i am putting a new build together to replace my 4790k I will be streaming , playing a varity of games and video edit. I am currently running at 1440p at 144hz. While i do care about eye candy in games i do care more about hitting the high fps. From what i've read so far it seems like the diffrence is about 10 to 15 fps and the price diffrence is about 250$ CAD while i can afford both idk if the 2080s worth it. And i would prefer to buy new. Can i have your thoughts on this ? 6. Z97 maximus hero i don't have the cards yet but i could space em out i guess i am not sure tbh
  7. Hi guys i am planning on getting 2 gtx 980 to setup in sli the 2 cards are going to be inside a nzxt H630 with 6 noctua NF-A14 and cooling a NH D15 colling the 4790k @4.8. Now since i have a silence optimized case and airflow is somewhat lacking should i get reference designed cards ? Since they exhaust hot air out of the case or would a non reference still be fine with the extra fans ? Not sure for what i should go for please keep in minf that silence is important for me. On a last note i will probebly moderately OC them or at least would like too Give me your thoughts thanks !
  8. I like what you're saying and i feel the same way too, i actually wanted to get the same setup as i would think it would be great to OC on it and 3ghz ram ? Why not ? But here it seem like everyone seem to discourage ppl to jump on x99 cuz "cost" yea its new thec yea its expensive has to be expected and while i might not use the full potential of x99 it still look interesting enough for me to want it even if i have to pay 500~600 more What happened to true enthusiasts? Its not the best for gaming hell you might get 2more fps at most atm, but new tech new stuff to play with new fun. But yea like stated above if you care ONLY about gaming and nothing else i guess you shouldn't jump on x99 but if you like new stuff and you really fell like you want it you shouldn't let ppl discourage you just cuz "no benefit to gaming so not worth" type of stuff
  9. There's an other post down there on the same page where there a mod specifically for headset volume its called "mod_headphones.zip" which only make headphone volume louder thats the one i used. I didn't the beatsEQ thingy i just flashed the volume mod and problem was fixed
  10. This Solved it ,its even too loud now on max volume now but at least now i have extra head room i don't know why they are messing withthe software like that but it sux, anyway thanks alot!
  11. Thanks for the reply i am not home atm but ill try the fix as soon as i get there. I have good hearing.... if i have the volume on max i can hear ppl talk around me .... it might be with the phone ill try the fix when i get home and give you guys a follow-up
  12. Hi, so i recently purchased a pair of DT-770 pro the 32ohms version,i really like the way they sound and all but they are not loud enough i plug it in my Galaxy S4 Using google play music, I also tryed with a Nexus 5 same thing they are not loud enough, I don't own an Ipod but i do have an Ipad i haven't tryed yet. Does that mean these can't be fully powered by phones ? do i need a portable amp ? Not sure what to do ....
  13. Okay looks like ill be getting the DT 770s with a mod mic worst case senario ill get a 2nd more powerful pair for desktop thanks for the help guys
