  1. I have an Asus DSX and I don't really notice any difference in sound quality using it compared to my onboard sound, there is however a massive difference in the quality of microphone input which has made it more than worth the money.
  2. If you believe your PSU may be damaging your components test it and solve that issue before putting any new components in your computer. I don't know of your PSU and I would definitely look into getting a reliable power supply from a well known manufacturer.
  3. I don't know your problem, but is this any use to you? http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11290029/http-status-404-on-eclipse-with-tomcat
  4. Depends on the components you have and the climate you live in, monitor your temperatures and find yourself a noise/temp sweet spot.
  5. I'd say DDR4 is going to be out of budget for quite a while, definitely try to get the GTX 970 and prioritise an SSD in your build, they're great. Also, the CPU is a bit overkill you could probably take the funds out of there and push them into an area which will benefit your needs a bit more.
  6. I actually really enjoy BF4 now they have made some changes.
  7. They defo need to move in this direction to be widely adopted, the houses near me look so ugly with them.
  8. Every computer lab has different keyboards with different layouts, each period i'm swapping rooms and adapting between UK/US layouts ontop of different keyboard shapes...
  9. How are you even browsing the forums with speeds that bad?
  10. As many others have said it is mostly language dependant, I primarily work with C# and so it would be Windows for me.
  11. RHA MA-750 earphones, I really like them and would love for other people to see what you think of them. http://www.amazon.co.uk/RHA-MA750-Isolating-In-Ear-Headphone-Black/dp/B00ELAM8LE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411311989&sr=8-1&keywords=RHA+ma+750
  12. You should have no problem reaching the presets you want (for the vast majority of games), especially if you're going to be gaming on a 1080p monitor. That's an ATX board so just go find a mid tower you like the look of that has positive reviews, I personally can't recommend the fractal r4 enough but it isn't flashy enough for some.
