    So is it true that g-sync works best when you can't hit the monitors max refresh rate? Would you recommend going for the lower resolution? I really want 1440p, but if I'm only going to be hitting 30-50 fps on good looking games I'll just stick with 1080

    What about for 1440p? I've also got a 970. Definitely want 144hz and 1440p, but I'm wondering if g-sync is worth it. It looks like without g-sync it'll be around $500-600 with g-sync adding another $200. I really want that buttery smoothness, but $200 is a lot extra. Plus I've been reading about nvidia possibly supporting adaptive sync at some point.

    When I try to launch a Ubisoft game that is connected to Uplay there is a processes called Uplay in Windows task manager but no application. The game does not start and Uplay does not appear anywhere. I've tried starting just Uplay, even running as administrator, but it still does not appear on the screen. I guess it would probably work if I just re installed Uplay, but I wanted to know if anyone had seen anything like this. Also, if I re install Uplay do I have to re install all my Ubisoft games that are linked to Uplay? I'm on a Windows 7 machine. Thanks otan

    I think I've made up my mind on my first mechanical keyboard. I'm going with the Ducky Shine 3, Red LED's and Cherry mx Blues. There seems to be limited distributors in the US and I was wondering if anyone has a preferred site. Also, would it be worth waiting until Cyber Monday to look for a deal or is $140 going to be the best price I get?
