Hi everyone I'm looking to build a media server PC to be placed in my bed room i'll looking for suggestions. I have a fair idea of what i need but i have no idea what parts will draw the least power from the wall as i want be able to leave the PC on so i can access it at anytime from anywhere i was looking at something like a G3250 and a Gigabyte H97M-HD3 to go with a 8GB ram and then i wish to put in 1 SSD for boot and 4 WD red 4/5tb's configured into 2 sets of raid 1 i'm still unsure on what PSU i'll need for this setup so if anyone can push me in the right direction with that i would greatly appreciate it . if anyone has any suggestions on a more power efficient (and lower heat output) set up let me know i don't need a case as i'm building a cabinet for it all to go in. i will put a build log once I've finished the build and no i'm not on a budget but i would like to keep the price of the build down because here in Australia we pay way to much for parts as it is

Hey sploosh forum im about half way through my hardline water loop and I've ran into a little snag with water routing options. My question is if my res is above my pump can i get away with running it through a rad then into my pump or will i have to go res-pump then rad ?? Cheers pawz

Hey everyone wasn't to sure on where to post this one but i'm thinking about making my own 4pin splitters as i need 3 of them as i have 3 different sections i want to cool properly i already have all the fans but i don't have enough headers on my mobo and my question is how do i make up the splitter it is is any one to give me a rough wire diagram on how i need to wire it as i have the tools to make the wires just not the knowledge Cheers pawz

Hi Sploosh Forum I'm looking at re doing my water loop i'm going from Normal Hard-line Acrylic Tubing to the New PETG Tube from Primochill and i was wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks with bending and cutting and anything else to do with the new product?? Cheers, Pawz .

Hi shago yeah sorry about the dead link i guess they sold out and didn't want to carry that item any longer. i will have a look at what i can get Hey Max thanks for the reply i just checked the measurements of the res i have and it's only 50mm so it'd be to small for that res but yes that type of top for the pump but just to fit my res and i have a male to male fitting i was just looking at my other options as it wouldn't look as clean as having the pump res combo

Hey people of the Sploosh community i'm looking at redoing my build and i'd like to some how make EK D5 Vario X-Top Plexi With Pump and Alphacool Cape Corp Coolplex Pro 25 LT into one unit that is less than 390mm in length Is there some top i can get for the pump to join them up or will i have to get another Res ?? Hi interwebs people I'm located in Brisbane i'm looking to make some Sleeved cables and i have the connectors and sleeve i all i need is the Cable it self and all the places i've been to only sell in mm not is AWG (gauge) as i've been asking for 18 gauge and 24 gauge wire and get looks from the staff as if i was the devil is any able to give me some insight as to what type of cable and where to get it?
