I am not quite sure what you mean. Windows will surely recognize the HDD and you will be able to make changes to that drive. I would not promise that this method will be successful, but this is what I would try if I was in that situation. Just wait a bit, I am sure there are other people who may have done something similar before. I would install a fresh copy of the operating system onto the SSD. Then I would delete the "Windows" folder from the hard drive and any other files that are associated with the old copy of Windows. Thank you very much, Speaker1264, really appreciate it. Maybe I should replace the hard drive which must have got damaged because of smoke. As far as I know, even a small particle can ruin the drive's stability and life, or even potentially kill it right away. I'll first blow the computer with air compressor or something to remove as much dust as I can. I'll be performing this recovery in two months as I am in Ottawa right now, but the computer is in Pakistan. Again I really appreciate your help man! I'll send you an update when I perform the recovery ;p Not sure if that's a joke or what. Thanks for replying anyway

Hey there, Recently my apartment caught fire and everything burned down, except my computer, which sort of melted from the top. Assuming my computer is fine, I bought a new case, but I am not quite sure how I should clean the computer. The inside of the computer is all black because of smoke. My dad recommend me to use a contact cleaner, but he is not sure if that is the best approach either. Should I wash out the computer with isopropyl alcohol or use a contact cleaner? @Aircooled Brain, I do not see why he would ever need a xeon. That's a server grade CPU, and not really meant for gaming or day to day tasks.

Linus' content changes, some are interesting to me and some are not. It will vary to you. As for the quality of videos, I actually noticed some editing problems like in the holiday buyer's guide. Edzel is a great video editor, but I think he made a few mistakes in some of the latest content because he didn't have much time. We want to see new content from Linus everyday, but that's not possible because the video he makes are time consuming. It takes a lot of time to write, capture, edit and upload the video. We need to appreciate what Linus is doing guys. Did you ever see a video from him supporting a specific company? That's because he reviews every product honestly and he uses it before he actually makes a video about it. Considering his honest reviews, how much time it takes to shoot a video, we need to appreciate what he has been doing. Keep in mind that he has a life, too, and making videos everyday isn't that easy. Come on, movie guys don't even work that much everyday. One thing I would suggest Linus and his employees to keep the content PG-13 as the latest of their content is not... And I would also suggest that you guys take your time making videos, we can all wait here Keep up the good work, LMG!
