  1. I currently use a floor stand, but it takes up too much room since my computer is cramped into a corner. SO something that clamps onto the corner and takes as little room as possible would be nice. I moved to the floor stand from the default small stand the yeti comes with because I needed it closer to my mouth and it needed a shock mount badly. Now I'm looking for a desk clamp with a shock mount for the best of both worlds.

  3. What's wrong with the Lucid 3? I have the Lucid 2 and it isn't THAT bad. Nothing flashy, but gets the job done.
  4. This will be used top browse the web, stream video, and play low demanding games (such as LoL on low smoothly). Any decent games I can run on my desktop. Attachable/detachable keyboard of course. Quality that lasts. Nothing I hate more than buying crap that breaks easily in a month. Don't really have a budget, but the lower the better. Guess under 500 would be ideal. All I've looked at is the Asus T100. But I don't know much about tablet standards, so I don't know what exactly to look for, and what else is out there to compare it to.
  5. I really see no reason to buy such expensive gear for your needs. Half the time your voice quality will deteriorate over the crappy chat service anyway. And there are loads of streamers that got big with average mics, and never upgraded to a yeti or 2020 at best until they were already rolling. Unless you are doing some amazing podcasts or recording for professional distribution, or just have money to burn, i would just go with a yeti or at2020 and thats it.
  6. HD598's are so light that you forget they are there.
  7. CSGO, LoL, and Nba 2k15 so far. All I've played since this started happening. All games I've played loads of previously with no issue whatsoever. I've played really badly optimized games in the past (Ubisoft tyvm) and they ran fine. Drivers are all up to date No OC. I have enough power ceiling to SLI comfortably, and I haven't even bought my 2nd GPU yet. Temps are great. It just stops on a frame. I'm free to move my mouse around, and all my other programs run fine, and then a few seconds later it resumes fine. Not sure how to test how much VRAM my card is utilizing.
  8. As of yesterday, games I play will random freeze for 3-7 seconds and then resume just fine. This doesn't happen often, maybe 1 time every 30min. JUST the game freezes, I'm free to alt tab and go WTF until it resumes. This happens in any game I've played since yesterday. How can I pinpoint the problem here? I built this computer just last October.... It's a GTX 970. GigaByte version.
  9. In reviews, the X2's are usually slightly favored or equal to the hd650's. It's really slight slight differences. All I care about is my X2 gives me great positional cues in CSGO, good bass in movies, and great all rounder for my scattered music taste. I'm sure the HD650 would be cool too, but after buying 2 previous sennheiser's, I wanted to try something else.
  10. I'm sitting here opening Dyling Light, and I realize that I still wait around a little while for loading times, even though I now use a SSD. Is it possible that despite having them stored on the SSD, and not seeing a bottleneck anywhere, that I forgot a setting somewhere so the drive is underperforming?
  11. I was running V-Sync =/ I have no idea why I would be hearing interference now, when I've played very demanding games in the past and never had this issue. Guess it's time to look for a soundcard?
  12. My onboard was dead quiet since I built it, up until a few days ago where I've been picking up soft buzzing/static in the background. It seems to only show itself when I am gaming, and disappears at all other times. Anyone know what could be the problem here? I've tried with speakers and different headphones and the result is the same. Really didn't want to bother with a sound card which is half the reason I picked out this mobo...
  13. People think A40's sound good because it is usually the first pair of cans worth more than $30 they've ever used. They are ridiculously overpriced. HD598 + modmic for easily. HD558 if you want to save some cash and not lose much quality.
  14. Does it change using the motherboard port? There really is no reason to use the case jack....kind of defeats the purpose of the efforts they put into the onboard....
