  1. It's very stable at 4.7 ghz, and it only runs that on load, I'm only pushing 1.38 volts through it and it runs fine, but I've tried everything under 1.5 volts to try to get that 4.8 ghz, so unless I'm tinkering in the wrong settings, I don't think there's anything else I can do.
  2. I've been able to keep a stable 4.7 Ghz OC on my 4930k since I've had it. I've been trying to push it to 4.8 but it keeps failing on load tests (prime95 blend). What is everyone running their 4930k's at?
  3. I believe I have found the issue to the problem. I'm 99% sure that it is my reservoir. Yesterday I went to restart my computer; I remembered that when I was first building it, the water in the res would go down as it started to fill up rads and other components. I went to watch it as I rebooted, low and behold, I see water moving through the threads of the top of Phobya 250 res. So from what I can tell, the water has been evaporating through the threads at the top of my reservoir. I planned getting a new one anyways, but I'm quite upset that it has happened.
  4. Not sure if I mentioned this already, but I would assume it's some-what important: I'm using distilled water for my solvent.
  5. I don't think it's the pump, can't think of the name of it right now, but it's the one that Linus always recommends, I guess maybe I didn't get all the air out? I spent about an hour tipping the case back and forth, side to side to get all the air out I could, but maybe some just never made it out? I suppose it also could be from leftover air in the tubing, as the uv green primo flex tubing isn't very transparent. I will keep checking for leaks etc, will probably just get one of those helix res' anyway since i like the look and they're uv.
  6. The res is a phobya 250, I plan on doing maintenence in december (6 months from build finish) Going to drain the entire loop, and a quick disconnect for easier draining (didn't think about putting one in before the build) If anyone can recommend cylindrical res' for me that would be great! Thinking about getting the one that Linus has (also have a UV build) I'll keep an eye out for major links, Thanks for all the help!
  7. Is evaporation normal? I wouldn't think that it could evaporate from a sealed loop?
  8. I built my computer almost 4 months ago, made sure all my fittings were tight and got all of the air out of the Rads that I could. I've been keeping a close eye on my res and every couple of weeks double check all of my fittings and tighten them if possible (Using my hands, no tools have been used on the fittings) Recently the water in the res has been getting lower and lower (a millimeter every other week or so) and I have been unable to find any leaks anywhere. I used primo flex tubing and alpha cool fittings, I have swiftech rads. I wouldn't think that it's leftover air that's been trapped in the rads because like I said it's been almost 4 months (comp was finished on June 6th) any possible Ideas or suggestions?
  9. Love that their implementing larger resolution displays, but as Linus said, "Resolution is just a number." Whoops, didn't mean to post twice!
  10. @airdeano 50*C with fans at 700 rpm, i assume this is 5 volts because it's the lowest the fans will go. What coolant are you using? Should have probably said this, but I'm using distilled water for my coolant.
  11. @airdeano 47 degrees celsius on cpu with fans running at 1400 RPM, sorry, still kind of new to this stuff, went big on my first build haha, will let you know 700 rpm load temps when it stabilizes
  12. I was just wondering what some common watercooling temps were. I know there are many factors to these temps, but just wanted to know what everyone's temps were. I have a 4930K (stock speeds) running at about 35 degrees celsius idle, and 45 degrees celsius under load (prime 95) I have two quad xspc rads, and corsair sp 120's (high performance edition) cooling those rads. I'm also water cooling my 780 TI, temps for that are 34 degrees celsius idle, and about 40 degrees celsius under load (msi kombuster) What're your temps and are these temps normal/good?
  13. Currently installing onto the ssd and then planning on trying to setup raid after it's installed and see if it works. But i tried it earlier and when I tried to boot it said "windows has encountered an error" and wouldn't ever let me boot up, so we'll see if it'll let me this time.
  14. I recently just build my first computer. I'm trying to setup Raid 1. I have an intel ssd for my boot drive and 2 wd reds for my storage. If I don't have raid setup windows will locate the drive and let me boot windows onto it. But when I setup raid and try to install windows 8 onto my ssd it says "cannot locate drives". I am using the asus maximus IV black edition motherboard. Any help is greatly appreciated! and i'm not sure if this was the best thread location so don't get mad if it's in the wrong spot! :]
  15. Sorry, I'm a newbie I would've written it there, but I thought that since my original question was just about 900D or 750D I thought it would've been better to write it here
