  1. I'm going to do a clean install of Windows later today, I'm backing up games right now so I don't have to download everything again. I'll let you know if it works! I doubt it's related to Windows, I did the Windows update because I thought it was the previous version that was causing it, so it happens with both my current version and the previous one as well. Anyway, it doesn't hurt to try!
  2. Let me know if you find a solution! I still havent figured out how to fix it.
  3. Yes, both are up to date. The CPU seems to be working correctly. I had a 1080Ti previous to this card (upgraded it a few days ago) and it was working flawlessly as well.
  4. Screenshot of what I'm talking aboout (DOOM): https://i.imgur.com/0Vq6lzV.jpg If you look at the FPS graph, there are two skipped frames and FPS instantly goes down for a short period of time This is happening on all games I play. It skips a frame followed by a frame rate decrease every few seconds. It was happening more noticeably on Apex Legends and surprisingly enabling V-Sync on Triple Buffered fixed the issue for that specific game (locks FPS though) Keep in mind that screenshot was taken while playing at 1080p... with a 2080Ti... it should run perfectly smoothly without any issue whatsoever. I tried changing every single video option provided, resolution, nothing. The same happens in Battlefield 1, Tomb Raider, Sniper Elite 4, PUBG, I didn't try more games but I assume it happens in all of them. I tried with two monitors, Acer Predator XB271HU A (1440p 144hz) and ASUS ROG PG27AQ (4k 60hz), both of them have G-Sync (I also tried disabling it). I ran the 3DMark Time Spy Stress Test and it did not pass with a 96.7% Frame rate stability result. http://www.3dmark.com/tsst/440052 And a regular benchmark: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/34693931 I found more people with this issue, but I was unable to find a solution. Any help is appreciated! Specs (nothing is overclocked): i7 8700k 2080Ti ROG Strix Z370 AORUS Ultra Gaming Samsung 960 Pro and 860 EVGA Supernova G650 G2 Windows 10 Education
  5. I'm not sure if it was software or hardware, but the problem seems to be gone (hasn't happened in 3 days) after I upgraded to a 2080Ti. It might have been the old card, or something related to the drivers, that we'll never know I guess It was an interesting problem for sure, would've loved to fix it without "cheating" with an upgrade haha Thanks everyone for the replies!
  6. Sadly it happened again Both after installing the latest drivers and after completely uninstalling them with DDU and installing them again. Same logs show up right at the time it happens, but the FACEIT one is now gone since I uninstalled that program, I'm starting to think the problem is there somewhere.
  7. I checked that and everything seems fine (https://i.imgur.com/bmk8Eeh.png), a bunch of information logs and the critical error is saved when I press the reset button. However, I see some consistency when it comes to these information logs right before it happens, especially this three: https://i.imgur.com/7NiMMPJ.png They all just say "File system filter "name" (numbers) was correctly loaded and registered on the filter manager" (translated from Spanish, sorry). I only recognize the FACEIT one which is a client related to Counter-Strike, I just deleted that program just in case it helps. I checked four times it has happened and these three are always there, I'm going to pay more attention from now on as I don't know the exact second when it happened on previous times, but it literally just happened again and it was for sure at the time these three logs were saved. I don't recall installing new drivers, but now that you mentioned it and I went to check it, Geforce Experience failed to load at first and it started to update itself (not the drivers, but maybe it's related). I see there are new drivers available now so I'm going to go ahead and try these first. If it doesn't change anything and try completely reinstalling them. Glad to hear you don't think it's hardware related haha, I agree with that, the card is working correctly and has less than a year and a half of use. I'm planning on changing it very soon anyway, but I'd still love to fix the issue before doing so in case the video card is not the problem so I don't continue experiencing it or I don't sell a faulty card to someone else.
  8. It started happening a few weeks ago. It happens at random times, when I'm playing, when I'm watching a movie or even when when no one is using the PC at all. First thing I thought was temperatures, I've been checking them all and they seem totally fine even right before the problem happens. Both CPU and GPU sit below 40c idle, CPU rarely ever goes above 60c (water cooled) and haven't seen the GPU reach 90c while gaming (usually around 80-85c). Sometimes it happens multiple times a day, then it goes a few days without happening, then it happens again... I can't find anything to relate it to, everything seems normal and I didn't do any hardware change recently other than adding a new SSD a few months ago. I tried unplugging monitors and peripherals and it still happened after a few hours of running doing nothing at all. Specs: i7 8700k Gigabyte 1080Ti Z370 AORUS Ultra Gaming Samsung 960 Pro and 860 EVGA Supernova G650 G2 Video showing what happens If you have any idea of what it could be causing it, please let me know!
  9. I've been at this for hours... halp I'm trying to install a Samsung 860, my PC already has a Samsung 960 M.2 (with Windows) and a random 4TB HDD. The SSD appears on BIOS and device manager, but it does NOT appear on disk manager or diskpart or other software like speccy. I've tried: - Different SATA cables and connectors (even with the ones the current HDD is using which I know work fine). - Updating BIOS, any related drivers, reinstalling Windows (it didn't show up on the windows installation software either). - Completed a memory diagnostic test (someone said it worked for him but didnt for me) - Clear cmos I dont know what to do anymore... what am I missing? Specs: i7 8700K 1080Ti 32GB RAM AORUS Z370 Ultra Gaming Windows 10 Education Any ideas? I'll provide any extra information if needed. Thanks in advance!
  10. It came out with the Note 9, I hope that still counts as new lol.
  11. I just got the new Samsung Watch and I'm having troubles with the Spotify app in particular. I want to download my songs so that I can play them while offline, but for some reason the app doesnt seem to get online to download my songs. The watch is connected to my wifi network (other apps works just fine), offline mode on Spotify is off. When I press Search it says "You're Offline. Please connect to Wi-Fi to use this feature", but I already am... Any ideas?
  12. My bad for posting in the wrong subforum, didnt see that one. Thanks for your reply! It's the last thing I needed to know before buying it.
  13. I've watched dozens of videos, went through every review possible and couldnt find the answer to this. I want to buy the new Samsung Watch to listen to my Spotify playlists while working out so I dont have to carry my phone with me, but my SIM card is on my phone so I wont have internet connection on my watch when I'm out. Can I download the Spotify songs (assuming I have the storage for it of course) and save them on the watch to listen to them in offline mode? Or is the watch version of Spotify just a few media keys that tells my phone what to do? Thanks in advance!
