  1. He might have to sell the Lambo to Linus to pay for it
  2. At 4K, CF Furies actually beat out SLI Titans/980Ti, the (lack of) amount of Vram on the Fury X is negligible as the gigantic bandwidth of HBM more than makes up for that. At 1080p or even 1440p the Fury X is rubbish compared to hell even a 970, but Fury X was designed for one thing 4K + and AMD have admitted that saying the X wasn't designed for 1080p. If one wants 1080p or 1440p go one of the 300/980 or below series, I'd love to get a Fury X or multiples of, but I A) don't game that often and B) I won't be going 4K anytime soon so a 390X in crossfire will do me just fine.
  3. Pfft 4 way Crossfire is so yesterday, how about 8 way under Linux  http://www.tweaktown.com/news/46091/amd-radeon-r9-fury-works-4-way-crossfire-8-under-linux/index.html
  4. Yah, watched it last night @4aminthemorning FTW . Looking forward to it. Also the fridge build looks errrrrr "interesting"
  5. FuryX Xfire vs 980ti & Titan SLI. http://www.tweaktown.com/tweakipedia/94/amd-radeon-r9-fury-crossfire-triple-4k-eyefinity-11-520x2160/index.html?hootPostID=20b9ea7d2e7a9d28d480b03df6f44d13
  6. http://community.coolermaster.com/index.php/topic/12566-nepton-240m-pump-sometimes-not-starting-am-i-connecting-right/ Seems you're not the only one
  7. I do hope for this, ala 780Ti to the Titan and 980Ti to the TitanX, they may be releasing the "Halo" cards first at exorbitant prices - profit - then release a card which is cheaper and more clockable - even more profit
  8. Meh, it's like Nvidia not allowing board partners to redesign a flagship design. (ala Titan/X/Z) I'm seeing AMD knowing what the FuryX is capable of, riding out the initial backlash of "This cards shit", drivers mature, HBM yields improve, the card kicks absolute arse and HALO CARD MOFO. Lets AIB design boards for the non X Fury Damn got Rascal Ninjad
  9. Good point, I did try showing vs to vs, but got flamed (elsewhere) for showing charts from different sites even thought the FPS were + - either way by 1 - 2 FPS to either card. The thing is there is no direct head to head yet, I just showed a RELATIVE correlation of results. Until there is a definitive head to head the jury is out
  10. *Deep Breath* I probably am being a wee bit precious, but misinformation really rustles my jimmies
  11. I'm seeing a lot of fanboying and toxicity on this site especially towards certain companies. Not trying to flame but this is the only thread I've seen (and correct me if I'm wrong) which puts the FuryX on level territory or even beating the topend NV cards despite the multitude of ACTUAL real life instances, on these forums, it's only getting drowned out by the HuurDuur's.. This is not a rant directed at anyone personally but this I find distasteful and it's driving ACTUAL Tech literate peeps away from what was once a fair and balanced site.. Regards p5ych00n5
