  1. I have to say. I do agree. I subscribed to LTT back when you used to do videos back at the NCIX offices, you'd talk very excitedly about a new graphics card with a funky new cooler, or new technologies presented by AMD or Nvidia, You'd show us backdoors and software tricks. The LTT channel was about vlogging your experiences as a tech youtuber, and presenting YOUR opinion on tech and you would legitimately share all of your knowledge. You then moved into your garage, and the funky unique-LTT style continued, seriously Red Walls with Blue Panels? Fricken awesome. The Livestreams were always fun to watch the chemistry was always lively and so much audience involvement. But in the search for improvement the channel has seem to go very stale.. Videos now seem like they have to be made, and every word scripted is really obviously fake.. The jokes are god damn awful, and distastefully awful, not like before, I understand it makes it easier for you to shoot, edit and upload, but the videos feel like a marketing campaign. Now trust me, i am a HUGE fan of Linus. It was the first channel that I watched, and I learnt the basis of everything I know about PC hardware and software from him, and I continue to watch the WAN show weekly, I watch every single video and thumbs them up every time, even the ridiculous videos that feel like a space filler but I miss the good old days. I merely want to voice my opinion like everybody else on this forum. I am not going to stop watching Linus' videos, I respect you Linus and everything you have done to build LinusMediaGroup up from nothing. Hats off to you sir! Thanks for all your videos man.
  2. I recently purchased an MSI Lightning Edition GeForce GTX 770 2GB, and within the first day of upgrading from the Radeon 6870, Catalyst drivers still installed, everything was going O-K and framerates were great in games. After rebooting all of a sudden any and everyday will crash after running for around 5minutes. I even used MSI Afterburner to view the power draw and temperatures whilst play GTA IV at max settings, and the power never went above 50%, and temps never above 50degrees. Im using the latest drivers recommended by the GeForce Experience, 320.49 Just wondering if anybody else has experienced these issues, and any resolutions. Thanksss---
  3. True, But if guns we're removed from the norm, With kids not being brought up to go hunting with rifles for example then Im sure that would have an impact on availability and overall 'incidents'
  4. This whole 'Guns In Games Causes Psycho Kids' is ridiculous. I can 100% guarantee you, the shooter that killed all those people in the Batman film preview Didn't play Call of Duty for example and think, That FAMAS is nice, I want to kill people with it IRL. If anything, Guns in games is even bringing down the urge kids have to want to have guns, seeing what they can do Virtually puts them off from their IRL Truths. If they want Gun crime lowered, Who *really cares* about Battlefield, Call of Duty ect. They should not be aloud to buy guns in the first place! Even with a guns license, the only people with them should be special forces, even police don't deserve them, If we got rid of guns completely day-to-day then this would all be resolved. So this whole 'Unbranded Guns' on games, If anybody thinks this is going to lower gun crime? By removing a couple pixels? They're crazy..
  5. I think because only 1000 or so were made its not really considered a real card in my opinion. If i think BEAST card I think TITAN, 690 or 7990 because I can go to NCIX and purchase one; But ARES 2 was never as good as the pricetag, but the integrated water-cooling was a pretty cool concept I wish more people would adapt :)
  6. HIS 6870 1GB, Only on a 1920x1080 monitor But going to treat myself to a Dell U2713HM; So may need to pick up a 7970 or a next-gen card soon :)
  7. Usually every two upgrade cycles, for example I currently run a 6870 which I put in when it was basically new, It still plays all of my faviroute games at 1920x1080 max settings; Like F1 2012. So im going to upgrade to either a 8970 whenever that rolls around, or a GTX 780 also whenever that turns up! No real need for great jumps in graphics horsepower at the moment sadly.. and nothings changing.
  8. Im sure there will be a great Star Wars game! As soon as EA drop it and some other great dev picks it up..
