Have you tried AMD's own clean driver uninstall utility? worked wonders for many issues when driver updates/beta installs fuck up.

Shit, do you have system restore active? could go back in there & try uninstalling & reinstalling properly.  PS : use the cleanup utility one more time & repair registry with a free tool & try an old stable amd display driver & use the auto detect tool to update.

I don't think I have, which is a shame really... I'll try installing 18.5.1 and see if that solves it... God damn it

i wonder if nvidia is this buggy when it comes to new updates. i usually wait a lot before i update to new drivers , one reason is literally no game i can play with this cheeky baseline model , 2 : received lots of system errors while doing updates , one time to a point where it forced me to do a windows reinstallation

Well, I don't know, only had an Nvidia card. My 1GB 750 that wasn't even used for all that long.

I installed 18.5.1 (using AMD's clean install option) and everything is working so far... For some reason I have to log back in to almost everything now, odd. I'll fire up D2 and see how things are... FPS will be shite again tho, pretty sure. Need to do this rollback properly (not that I didn't do it properly before, I think, just don't know what made it go bork)

Yeah, framerate is absolute shit right now... fml

Oh and also, these drivers, they don't just make my framerate worse, they also make everything load slower, which is just wonderful
