  1. Parts like ram mobo psu, won't change for amd in the foreseeable future, the only parts that I have to wait on is cpu and gpu And I rather buy it spread out and save money then buying everything and spend like 200bucks unnecessary. And I'm now trying to find out what to buy
  2. Budget (including currency):+- €1500($1750) Hard cap €1600($1900) Country: netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: a veriaty off games from shooter, mmo to strategy Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello pc gurus, first of all english is not my native langauge so sorry for any mis spelling or grammatical faults. After being a console gamer for 6 years i want to return to pc gaming with zen3 and big navi or nvidia 3000 series. The problem is i have no clue anymore what parts to buy. Im planning to built the system my self, im also going to buy most of the parts in the upcoming prime days sale.(exept for the zen 3 and big navi/3000 series gpu) price preformance is the most important thing i dont care for flashy rgb so if the part is cheaper or faster without rgb put in the better part. what i got in mind: cpu: amd 5600x or 5800x(zen3) mobo:gigabyte ultra durable(b550?) ram: 16 gb ballistix (2 sticks for later upgrade to 32 gb) gpu: a gpu around the power of the 3070(will be waiting for big navi reveal) cpu cooler: undecided air or aio best price preformance (will be overclocking) ssd: 1tb m.2 nvme gen4(samsung??) psu: corsair 750 80+ gold or platinum case: sleak design with good airflow (around 50bucks???) preferals and screen will be bought later and are not part of my pc buget the more builts you guys can give me the better i am informed what to buy when prime day comes knocking. If the prime days save me enough money i will put that in to a better cpu or gpu.(or whatever you guys recommend) i hope i gave you enough info if not please let me know, i dont have any alligence to a brand. again price/preformance is the main forcus for this build. thank you in advance to anyone who would like help me pick parts for my pc Greetings, nickvh
  3. Also if people could give me tips on how to make my pc as silent as possible without Goin passive that would be great because I don't want to build an other vacuum cleaner...
  4. What would your suggestion be for AMD that at least can cope with the i5 I picked, also I got at bit scared away from AMD after my last CPU and I heard that for gaming the Intel is still the better pick. My goal with this build is buy a good system now and upgrade after like 5 years or so.
  5. Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my pc from a fx6100(biggest mistake of my life) To a Intel i5 8600k. But these days om not that invested in pc's anymore because of the Neverending rotation of new pc parts. So I would like to ask some help/ your suggestions of parts. Note that best bang for the buck is central in the build, but higher end may also be welcome if in your mind it's the better way to go. PC priorities: it has to be fast and silent(please give me some tips in the silent part, my current PC drives me nuts) I prefer atx Form factor. What I'm looking for. 1. I5 8600k 2.mobo(oc because of k series) 3. Ram(16gig 2stick) 4. Allin one liquid cooler. 5. psu (has to support at least 1080ti no sli/ future high end cards 1180ti?????) 6. Case mid tower or large tower (s340 elite? Or something that looks as good) 7.better case fans? (optional) For now that is all, for gpu I will be sticking with my gtx770 because prices and all and will probably pick up 1 when the new gpu lineup land. As for a ssd I got one but when I'll be upgrading that thing I was thinking on taking a m.2 ssd Also for the case I don't really care about the side panel it doesn't have to be transparent the thermals and silent part are more important. If I missed something please fill in. In the picture below is what I thought would be fairly decent. note, ignore the gpu and the ssd that will be for a later date. So what I think for the upgrade i would like to allocate 1000euro/1200dollars less is always better. (you don't have to bother exchanging the vultas if your in the US I'll do that when I'll start looking at my local pc web stores for the parts If you are missing any information please ask me. Sorry if the post is unclear or something does not follow the guidelines, I'm not that good at posting on forums and I try my best to. Be as clear as possible. Thank you in advance, Nick.
  6. The point is, i want to step away from headsets because generaly they suck in every way the sound and the mic. The reason i want a desk mic is because besides the mod mic its the only other way to get the best. And what if i say i bumb the price up to 300-350 dollar would that open things up for me? Because what i understand u guys are saying 200 bucks isnt enough to get me both. (looked it up us and eu prices are the same thats because our tax is higher) i liked the suggestion of the HD558, but i don't know about the mod mic because i keep rolling over cables. So i try to minimise the cables i have to run in front of my desk(cables over my desk is a no no) I can buy the headphones and the mic in steps, so first the mic and then the headphones. But my maximum on that will be 350 dollars/euro and no more.(prefer to stay under 300 but there is play untill 350) Also i found this: http: http://www.head-fi.org/a/headphone-buying-guide is this a accurate depiction of the headphones? In advance thank you for any info u can give me. every little thing helps
  7. I modified the post because i saw that my translation wasn't correct. It was headset and i should have been headphone.
  8. Hello, I am looking for a new Desk mic and headphone and im not realy sure what i should go for. The question is, can some of u guys can give me some tips and suggestions what i should go for. Now i am using a Plantronics gamecom 780 but i want to switch over to a desk mic combined with a good headphone for sound/music. This is to improve my over all gaming experience, so this is not for streaming or such thing mostly for voice chat and so on. My budged for the desk mic is around 100 euro's, +- 20 euro ( 106 US dollars, +- 21 US dollars) And my budged for my Headphone is 100 euro's(106 US dollars) Prefered total 200 euros (211 US dollars) but there may be a little play in the price. Thank you in advance for any advice u can give me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry if the post in messy but i olmoost never post anything because of my Dislexia. Any tips on how i can inprove my post are always welcome.
  9. Thank you for the info at least i now know its possible. now i have to find something that will work for me, becus EqualizerAPO won't be optimal and for some reason my sound chip isn't a realtek one at least the realtek software doest pick it up.
  10. Hello, In front sorry for any mishaps in my post, This is my first time posting something.(This is mainly becus of my dislexia) I have a USB headset (Plantronics Gamecom 780) But i wonderd if i could use a EQ program for windows 8.1 so i can do things like boost my base or my mids and high's and so on. Also it uses software to enable/disable the dolby 7.1 audio. I have read it at some forums it was possible but the only thing thay said was (yes its possible) and gave no info or links. Or is this not possible becus its digital audio and not analog. If something is not clear or there is not enough info please ask so i can fill it in. Thank you infront for any given info. Sincerely, Nickyvh
