When I go to the mobile to wi-fi connections, I do not find anywhere WPS password ask. I have searched settings, but cannot find it anywhere. Hello everybody! Please, I would like some clarifications on Windows XP Pro SP3 about max path length. Reading here and there I have come to the conclusion that max xp pro SP3 path length is 260 chatacters: 1 letter drive+semiconol+backslash+path+filename+3 letter extension+NULL = 260 χαρακτήρες. So, an example is C:\256-characters-path-including-file-name-and-extention which if counted equals 259 characters (256+3 for C:\ ) and there us one more character left which is ending character. So, useful max path length for path and filename is 256 characters. Is this correct for XP Pro SP3?

Hello. Please, I would like your help in a serious problem I have. I have been stolen and changed my password in a Gmail account. Unfortunately, it's a lot of time ago that I created the account, and in these back days I did not know about mobile phone or 2-step verification secure. I found out that simple Windows Notepad can read just files with an MS-DOS line breaking character, and Android creates Unix line breaking character files. That is the reason of in serial all lines of the file. It cannot read line breaking character as it should. So, Notepad++ does read it as it should. Except from Notepad++, do you know any other editors like that one?

To be more specific. I have installed in my mobile phone from Google Play the app Fast Notepad. And created many files through this app. So, more, I want these files to be read from windows notepad. The problem is here: if I create in the cell phone with Fast Notepad a file e.g. xxx yyy zzz with the lines one below the other, the problem is that Windows notepad will indeed read file contents, but it will put all lines in serial. And at the point of line change (so, at the point of enter) it will put two strange characters of little squares. Now, that in my keyboard I do not have the square character, I will put the at (@) symbol to show you the output result. So, I will see the file in windows notepad as follows: xxx@@yyy@@zzz But, I want to be able to see it with lines one below other.

@argyle Yes, that is correct. I have already thought to try make the copy via linux. I have already Ubuntu 15.10 installed on a HDD. But the con is that, if I connect the external USB multi card reader in the mobo USB ports, Ubuntu does not read it. It cannot read it. I do not know why. For me, because card reader is a quite old, Ubuntu should read it at once. The drivers should contain in kernel. The one card reader is this one: http://www.digital-data.de/english/products/produkt_win.php?IDT=2024 The card reader, mobo ports, usb cable, etc are all fine, because if I all these use them as same h/w in Windows, there it works. I do not know how to make it work and read it in Ubuntu (if there is a some way via commands of course). @Searbug The fild is a .fdb file.

Good evening. I need your help. I have a very important file in an old and very much used Trascend SD 512MB card. I insert it in a multi card reader in the SD card slot. It reads it fine. The card is about empty. It has only two small files in it: abc (about 750Kb) and xyz (about 700Kb) abc is a file that is not important to me. If I completely lose it, it doesn't matter. If I try copy abc to a HDD, it does copy it. The one, and very important, I want is xyz. Unfortunately, it cannot copy it. It starts copy process, but in 30% it stacks there. I have also tried to insert the card in my laptop, and try there to copy the file. The same no results. Also, with EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard 8.6 application, it begins scan process of the card, but it cannot find file to back it up through the app. I have also tried to make an image file of the card with DriveImage XML app. The same:no results. Have you anything to suggest me in order to have the file back? Thank you for your time !

Good morning. My cell phone is a Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus GT-S7580. If you see its specs e.g. here, with regard to SD cards, it supports microSD and SDHC up to 64GB. Reading web pages, and looking at cards, capacities, compatibilities and adapters, I found that SDHC capacities range from 4GB to 32GB. Also, SDXC capacities range from 64GB to 2TB. So, if someone wants to use a 64GB SD, should get a SDXC card. In order to use the XC card, of course should have an adapter from SDXC to SDHC. I guess something as follows: It concerns me the fact that from the one side 64GB is in cell's specs, but 64GB cards are XC cards, something that is not in cell's specs. It only supports SDHC cards. From the other side, there are adapters as in photo. So, if I buy an XC 64GB card (with the corresponding adapter included in package), will it work? Or will I just throw some money and maybe make some damage to phone's sd card bus/slot or sd card itself, so I will not be able to use it somewhere else? A little bit complicated.
