  4. Recently did a clean install of windows 8 onto my new 256gb ssd. My question is what is the difference between the uefi: ts256 and the p0:ts256? They are both the same drives are far as i know. http://imgur.com/pdAwtci
  5. Alright managed to install windows 8 onto my new ssd. How do i transfer everything on my old ssd that is not related to the system to the new ssd? Is it possible to clone everything except the os and its related files or will i have to reinstall everything manually?
  6. Im wanting to do a clean install on the new ssd. Does the copy of windows have to be on the usb because i have it on the ssd.

  8. I recently bought a new ssd since my old ssd is running out of space. I also have another 1tb for my files/games. My question is how do i install windows 8 onto the new ssd? I have placed the neccassary files into the new ssd, but everytime i change the boot order to the new ssd, the setup doesnt run. It just launches me into windows 8 on my old ssd. Do i have to unplug the old ssd first? If i unplug the old ssd, will it mess with my files on my hdd?
  9. I've been using a 64gb ssd for my os but it is running low on storage so i purchased a new 256gb ssd. I also have 2 other hdds for programs and games. My question is how do i safely transfer everything on my ssd to the new ssd without the registry resetting so my programs on the hdd would still work with the os on the new ssd
  10. anyone?
  11. Oh that would make a lot of sense. My os is on a ssd and all my other programs are on a hdd. Is there any way to make the registry not reset?
  12. i just remember that i unplugged my hdd to do some wire management and when i plugged it back in all the programs on that hdd showed up as a white icon. Also if i remember correctly i think that the hdd wasnt showing up in my computer.
  13. Will i have to buy a new key for windows? And also i remember the last time i unplugged one of my hdds, i lost everything for some reason so ive been kinda scared to unplug them.
  14. My ssd which is only 60gbs is running low on storage and i plan on upgrading to a 250gb ssd. My question is how do i safely transfer my os and everything on it from the first ssd to the new one? And also will doing this mess up the other hdd i have which contains all my music and games.
