Hey, Back in the day I had a HD 7850 and got in CS:GO like way over 120 FPS. Today I built in my GTX 960 and everything works but the game performance is complete shit. I get in CS:GO on everything min @ 720p 80 FPS max. The CPU (Phenom X4 @ 3,1 Ghz) is bored on 50% and the RAM (4 GB) is on like 600 MB and not even close to be full. Something is definitely wrong. I checked the 3D settings and disabled the energy saving mode already, I disabled Shadowplay and the Nvidia streaming service. It's gotta be something software related because the 7850 obviously worked flawlessy. Help?

But why? My old card ran perfectly fine. I installed now a pretty high upgrade and the screen is black. So I took my old card back and this one suddendly doesn't work aswell. WTF.

No. My old card doesn't work anymore too. So I guess that GTX is completely FINE.

I encountered something EXTREMELY wierd. I built in my old card and NOW the exact same error came up: 2 Short beeps. Somehow I managed it to fuck the entire PC. Unlucky for me: Wikipedia describes 2 beeps as "unknown error. Details on display". I don't know what this machine wants from me. I just want it too work again. For the record: The graphics card seem to work. Fans are on and windows has booted before. The motherboard is somehow malfunctioning

Hey, I bought myself a Gigabyte GTX 960. Today I installed them in my case and Windows boots but with a black screen. Windows Sounds etc. could still be heard. HDMI, DisplayPort, etc. tried everything: Black screen only. Not even BIOS shows anything. I read in a forum that a BIOS reset could fixx it all. I did that. IF I START MY PC NOW: I get 2 short beeps. According to Wikipedia: "Error of the graphics card." PCIe slot is in place. Power Connector are all in there. Power supply is also sufficient. But I can think of nothing that I could do. Any idea?

They are expensive. Any other idea?

Hey, Well I kinda crashed my onboard LAN adapter somehow.... Anyway. It doesn't work. So I tried to use a network PCI card. It failed. No matter what network card I use: The device manager in Windows 8.1 gives me a code 35: "The systemfirmware can not recognize this hardware because it couldn't gather enough data.. bla bla bla. Please update your BIOS". Uhm well.. My board is from 2010 and the latest BIOS update came 2012 and is already installed. I tried 2 network cards from Realtek which do have 8.1 support but the device manager is like "no. You can't use it". At this point I'm afraid to buy a new one because most likely I will have the same kind of error. I don't wanna use WiFi or USB solutions because I need a very low latency for gaming and a stable connection. Thanks for every answer.

Hey, I got a really strange problem: Windows 8.1 can't recognize ANY PCI card anymore. I woke up one day and I got no network connection and I wonder what the problem was: Apparently no network adapter was installed. Strange. Yesterday it worked flawlessy. Well I thought my onboard connector maybe somehow broke since the device manager told me that this adapter isn't connected. Now. Today I asked a friend that gave me his NIC card which we tested before and it works on his system perfectly. Now I built it in in my system: it won't work. The device manager won't show it too me at all. So I guess I have a bigger problem. The onboard one shows orange and yellow lights and the PCI one blinks green but Windows doesn't recognize any of them. The only thing that works is a USB tethering solution from my moto G but gives me horrible lag in any online game. Any guess what could been wrong? I need a LAN connection Thanks in advance

I don't think the CS:GO community is THAT kind of bad. If you ever played on Custom Servers you know that there are not always assholes. Casual is full of idiots and Matchmaking below Master Guardian too. If you avoid both of those modes you are pretty much good to go and won't encounter toxic players everytime. If you wanna deal with Shittalkers, Smurfs or Hackers, just keep calm. Report them if they're hacking(but don't tell them all the time), mute them if they're full of shit and see a Smurf as a challenge and not a problem. If you have the right attitude and you keep improving you will go up in rank and outta the idiot hell that's called low Rank Matchmaking. But I agree: Valves current MM system is crap and they should fix that like in Dota. But Dota always gets the good stuff first and CS:GO 2 years later.

Hey, I got a broken HD7850 (Green stripes during boot) and the warranty is void, so I guess my last resort is to bake it. I have a few questions: - Is this only a temporary solution? How long will the graphics work (if it does) after baking it? 1 month? - Will 3D games work again? And if yes: Will playing them alot cause the graphics card to break again? Is there a risk? Shouldn't I play them? - Is it better to go 212 °F for 30 minutes or 392 °F for 10 minutes?

Thanks everyone. But somehow it worked now. I installed my monitor driver, deinstalled all AMD drivers again and somehow the card got accepted sometime after 10 restarts. I can't explain how I did it. But it worked. Thanks anyway

Hey, Since my GPU broke yesterday I need some help getting my integraded GPU working. I started the PC and deinstalled all AMD drivers from my system. Rebooted and suddendly had to notice that the latest driver for my integraded GPU is only for Win7. Also Win8 won't recognize the name of my internal GPU anyway: http://puu.sh/gQfAo/23f7f1dc92.png So I tried to install the win7 64bit driver. But only Catalyst was installed and the display driver remains "Microsoft basic bla bla". I tried to manually install it and it didn't work. I tried the update driver function and that seemed to work almost. But Windows recognized the "Basic driver" as newer and doesn't install the amd one Any idea what I can do? Working with 1280x1024 is not enjoyable tho
