So, I found the source of the problem. Tested with my GSkill RAM 2133MHz base (i thinkg), 2800MHZ in XMP. The Ryzen sustem work fine as long as i dont use the 2800MHz speed. I geuss the R3 3100 doesn't support high speed RAM. when i put back the corsair 3200 MHz RAM nothing, so to me this confurme its a speed problem. Also, the PSU on my brother PC was bad, something is not working in it (I geuss the 5v or somthing) because the fans turn but no boot. with my PSU the PC work fine. In summary, R3 3100 + fast RAM = no good ------ R3 3100 + Slow RAM = good -------- PSU = BAD somehow. thanks all for your help especialy Filingo.

Its in, BTW when you don't put the 4-pin the CPU doesn't heat up (tested).

I have my main pc DDR4 but no AMD CPU, I plan to test with my RAM if no other solution is available.

I think there is a bord from MSI or Asus with this, but its too expensive.

Tested all the above, nothing. If only it was a MB with BIOS flash back at least I would know the BIOS is good.

On the box they say support Ryzen 3000. Its just sometimes AMD launch new CPUs with the same Gen name like the 1600AF which is Zen+ and not Zen1 like the 1600

The PC doesn't POST, black screen so I cant check the BIOS. Is this MB able to POST to BIOS without CPU?

Hi, My brother just got a B450M-A PRO MAX, a Ryzen 3100 and 2x8GB 3200MHz C16 Corsair Vengance LPX. The CPU does heat up just a bit, but nothing shows on screen, plus the LED keyboard doesn't light up. So is this motherboard compatible or I need to flash a new BIOS, in which case its a problem. PSU 850W (I had it around, so I used it) In the MB box it says 911-7C52-002 I think its the BIOS version. If you need any more Info please tell me. Thanks

beleave it or not, the moment dennis kicked the TV, my Screen got this yellow pixels bar. PS: when i press on the screen it go away for a moment.
