Which year is it? If its any of the retina models you won't be able to upgrade it really.

I've never had a cable be rejected by the OS for that. Most cables conform to the standard just fine I'm pretty sure. Unless you're talking about like $2 Chinese ones, then I guess you might have some problems.

It sounds like the wifi is dropping, which is causing Optimum to prompt you to log into the wifi again. Dropping the wifi would also cause iCloud to stop syncing, which is why its asking you for a password (it does that for whatever reason). And yes a whole bunch of different things can get messed up if your system clock is off. Make sure thats correct before troubleshooting anything.

I'm hoping to buy an ultrawide( preferably the Dell U3415W) that I can hook my MacBook Pro up to with the money from this.

I dont think you can do that in windows 8

So I have dual monitors and I'm running windows 8.1. Whenever I have a youtube video playing on my main monitor and the click on my right monitor, the task bar pops back up and covers the youtube controls and looks bad. Is there anyway to make this not happen?

So I just got a GTX 770, and the monitor im using currently only has VGA (horrible, I know, and a new monitor is on the way). My question is, can I connect this monitor to the VGA port on my motherboard and still take advantage of the 770, or will it run on the on-board graphics?

I am trying to decide what to get for a new graphics card and can't decide these two. I do gaming and some video editing and other content production and do not currently have a 1440p display, but i might get one in the future. Which would be the best option for me?

sorry i made a typo when I turn it on* it tries to boot for 5 seconds, then shuts off, then tries again

I just finished my first build and had it running for a fair while. But then I turned it off and now it will not turn back on. When I turn it off it tries to start up but after around 5 seconds it shuts off. Then it tries again. There is no signal on the monitor as well. Any thoughts to how I could fix this? It has been running fine for the past few hours.

Do you know where the manage menu is in windows 8? I'm brand new, coming from windows 7

So I just finished my first build, and everything is going great. The only problem is that I have a 1TB WD Blue drive that isn't being detected by windows. Its seen in the bios, so where would I go in windows 8 to find how to format it or whatever I need to do? Thanks in advance!
