  1. if you were at all curious. He was at my house the other day and showed me his surface pro. I just told him to plug it into his monitor and use IT as his office pc. With dual monitor even. Soo... saved some money
  2. I didn't think of that because it was 100% stable in Heaven. But i'll try that.
  3. kinda looks like a shadow bug to me. But I don't know shit.
  4. I recently flashed an RX5700XT BIOS onto my 5700. from an XFX DD Ultra to and XFX DD Ultra. I uninstalled the old drivers with DDU. Every game plays wonderuflly. except GTA V. I can play the game and it runs great when just roaming around. But when I play missions it randomly crashes. (screen goes black, no signal, sound is still playing) I heard that Adrenalin 2020 has some problems. Maybe it's related to this. I didn't test it with the original BIOS and I don't wanna reflash at this point as every other game works. Just wondering if anyone else had Driver Crash problems caused by the new Adrenalin Software. So I can rule out the BIOS flash as a cause. Thanks!
  5. He mentioned he needs wifi today. So I was thinking about the Gigabyte GA-AB350M-DS3H V2. It has Wifi and costs 14€ more. Do you know how I can find out if the BIOS supports the chip? I could also go for the old one and give him my USB Wifi adapter I don't need. The amazon page of the MSI one is so janky. It says AM4 on the picture and in the first description. In the title it says LGA1151 and in the specs it says AM3.
  6. the thing is. pcpartpicker says (Some AMD A320 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Raven Ridge CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.). if that was to actually happen i would be stumped. or has enough time passed? I heard many mainboards run on very old BIOSes from factory.
  7. are you german? amazon.de prices on partpicler. didn't know that was possible. but it's perfect. as i'm austrian. thanks. that looks way better.
  8. So a buddy asked me to build him something for 400€ He says he only does office work, like Excel, Word and stuff. I put this together really quick. Is that good value? With windows and everything I come to 390€ I don't wanna put only one ram stick in. so i got 16GB. it's listed wrong it's 2x 8GB and 3200 I'd get windows for 15€ somewhere. 9. makes sense. The CPU benchmark only takes a few seconds. same with the GPU. getting good data from that is not possible i guess.
  10. that's funny. although when I formatted my old SSD the score went up substantually.
  11. i mean. are that GPU and CPU stats legit. Like, is Userbenchmark good at evaluating this kind of performance?
  12. thank you. That is the info i needed. Crystalmark shows advertised speeds. It's a WD Black SN750. Didn't know Userbenchmark wasn't reliable in that sense. But on the GPU and CPU side, is it good there?
