  1. Situation solved. Thanks all for the input.
  2. BTW I am not streaming games but live video (like a talk show)
  3. Thanks for the reply. 1- I did check they're site and you are right, the camera is not listed but.... Before buying the Elgato Cam Link 4K I did some research and there are videos out there showing it works with the Nikon D7500 2- Which proper Elgato or Avermedia are you refering to? thanks again for the reply.
  4. Good day all, I have a Nikon D7500 which capable of 4k video output. I am trying to use it for live streaming on YouTube. I've downloaded the OBS software as well as the Nikon video drivers. When I connect my camera, through an HDMI cable, directly to a monitor, everything works fine. So I know my cable and camera are working properly. I first tried using the Elgato Cam Link 4K with no success (HDMI input/USB 3.0 output). I'd start the OBS software, followed the instructions and nothing would show up (no video signal). Thinking the problem was the Elgato, I returned it and purchased the Foscomax 4K (HDMI input/USB 3.0 output). Same problem. Am using Windows 10 and check that side also with no answers to my problem. What am I doing wrong. All the videos making reference to streaming makes everything so simple and yet...
  5. How about a video on wireless streaming systems like; Nyrius Aries Pro+ Wireless HDMI Video Transmitter & Receiver to Stream 1080p Video or any other similar Isn't the futur wireless? Thanks
  6. Thank you all for the reply. Everything seems so easy when I checked on the web for ideas for this project... not so easy in real life First of all, am new to this world of streaming, I need all the help I can get. 1- this is a home setup 2- source is a Nikon D7500 camera (4k capable video output). Planning, from everything I've read so far, to stream at 1080p video 3- the receiving end is a PC with an HDMI capture card (video capture card not purchased yet). The pc video card is GTX 1070ti, intel i5-4460 cpu, 16Gb RAM. 4- my project is to do a live streaming (video only, no sound for now), most every day, to YouTube. The camera is set up in my living room (pointing out the window) The computer is in the office approx. 60 feet away (separated by 2 regular walls). Other than the camera, I haven't purchased anything yet. Would like to stay away from running a cable all over the house. All the help is appreciated
