probably not getting those voltage spikes from the clock ramping formula, thus avoiding those short hits of temperature burst. I've had my own processors stable and cooler at higher sustained clockspeeds as well, although obviously stability is relative and extra testing is necessary to see if your voltage is in a good place. I'm quite interested in trying the ryzen clock tuner program when it launches
