  1. I am so confused. For the first time, ANOTHER stick has done the same thing at the same time
  2. Yeah it broke again so I booted the pc with the same stick in each slot. First boot it worked perfectly fine then I shut it down and booted it back up and I'm having the same issue with each slot. Slot 1: Slot 2: Slot 3: Slot 4:
  3. Alright so this is really weird but ever since I posted about the issue it has stopped doing it and all the ram sticks are lighting up and working correctly, it's been happening for months and once I post asking for help it decides to fix itself. I won't mark this as solved yet because I feel like it will break again soon, but once that happens I will try this
  4. Hey all, Ever since a month or so ago I've had a weird issue where one of my sticks of ram (Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x16gb 3600mhz) hasn't been lighting up properly after I reboot my pc. If I reseat the ram stick or unplug my pc from the wall it works perfectly and then as soon as I reboot the pc the issue happens again. Most of the time the RGB just won't work at all, and occasionally (like shown in the video below) there will be a single red light on the bottom and the top of the stick. The actual ram is still detected so it's not an issue with the entire stick, just the lighting part of it. It has happened on the 2 most latest bios versions of my motherboard as I updated my bios as one of the troubleshooting steps. Video showing the issue: Breakdown of what I have in my ram slots: Slot 1: Corsair Vengeance RGB Lighting Kit Slot 2 (The faulty one): Corsair Vengeance RGB 16gb 3600mhz Slot 3: Corsair Vengeance RGB Lighting Kit Slot 4: Corsair Vengeance RGB 16gb 3600mhz Also it might be worth noting that I use SignalRGB and the ram stick just doesn't show up in there either. ^ Image of the devices tab in SignalRGB showing 3 sticks instead of 4 ^ Image of the layout tab in SignalRGB which shows that the 2nd ram stick is gone from the layout. (Again, if I reseat it or unplug my pc from the wall and turn it back on then it works completely fine, but breaks again after a restart/shutdown) Full PC Specs: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/gPnLrH I wanted to know if anyone else has had the same issue and has fixed it or if anyone has anything that might be a good idea to try Thanks!
  5. Alright I have now realised how dumb I am, but I probably wouldn't have been able to realise without @Mel0n.so thank you I had wallpaper engine open so I had a constantly moving wallpaper on both monitors used by my 1030, as soon as I closed wallpaper engine so I had a static wallpaper it was completely fine and usage dropped down to 0%
  6. Thank you for the tips, it's laggy all the time, even if I'm just pressing the start menu on my main monitor which is connected to my 3070ti, it's noticeably less smooth
  7. Hey all, I recently added a GT 1030 to my build (5950x, 3070ti) in order to get a few more monitor outputs as I needed more than 4. However since I've done that my PC has felt noticeably slower with things like Windows animations, games getting lower fps, moving windows around seems to be more laggy, etc. I've also noticed that the 1030 is constantly at around 50% usage which lines up with Desktop Window Manager I was just wondering if there was any way to make things feel a bit smoother or if I was doing anything wrong which would be causing this slow down? Thanks!
  8. After asking on Reddit someone suggested the possibility of a memory leak I left my pc on overnight and came back to the stuttering, but closing SignalRGB stopped the stuttering immediately. I'm not sure if it was a memory leak because task manager said it was only taking up 300mb of ram but it seemed to fix the issue
  9. Pretty much after I leave my pc on for a while, whenever I play media (videos, music, anything) and move my mouse at the same time it will stutter/freeze. It is fixed after a restart of the pc, any clue? Thanks 507342355_Sequence01.mp4
  10. Hey, it's 700w. Here's an Amazon link https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooler-Master-700W-Power-Supply/dp/B07RWJMQW9
  11. Hey all, I recently got myself a new graphics card (MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SUPRIM X 8G) and I've been enjoying the performance uplift but I've noticed that occasionally (once every few days) both of my screens go black for a few seconds and then come back to normal, which isn't the biggest issue. My issue is that after the screens go black, whenever I clip something using GeForce Experience, the recordings end up all corrupted/unwatchable. One thing I've noticed is that recording works just fine if I boot up OBS after my screens flash, but GeForce Experience doesn't work. After I restart my pc I'm able to record things normally again but it gets annoying when I go afk and my screen go black during that time, and then I come back and clip something and notice it's corrupted. The video I have attached is an example of one of the clips taken after my displays flashed. If anyone has any suggestion for a fix or anything please let me know, thanks! 913682556_RocketLeague2022_07.10-00_30_14_09_DVR.mp4
  12. ^^ Solved now, realised it was a cpu mounting pressure error, I reseated the cpu and didn't max out the cooler screws, temps are fine and it's running smooth
  13. Hey all, I've been having an issue with my motherboard (Asus Strix B450-F Gaming) About 2 months ago my PC randomly wouldn't boot so I reset the CMOS and realised that my ram (HyperX Fury 2x8gb 3200mhz) would no longer run past 2400mhz meaning that I had to turn D.O.C.P off, this was really random so I tried another set of ram (Patriot Viper 4 Blackout 2x8gb 3200mhz) and that didn't make a difference. So I decided that my ram slots maybe have something wrong with them. I continued to use my PC at 2400mhz for a couple months and now suddenly it doesn't boot anymore. Whenever I press the power button the orange DRAM LED indicators come up which shows that it's a ram issue. I decided that it was probably an issue with the slots so I then tried a different motherboard and cpu which I had lying around and they worked just fine. I ordered another of the same motherboard in hopes of it working but it arrived yesterday and it turns out to have the exact same issue. I've tried pretty much every slot combination with 1, 2 and 4 sticks. I've tried a different cpu, I've tried a different power supply, I've tried resetting cmos multiple times on both boards, nothing has worked at all. I'm going to order a cheap new 4gb stick of ram to see if maybe both sets of ram are faulty but in my head that's super unlikely and I'm not really sure what to do if this new stick of ram doesn't work. Is it possible that my fault board had fried both my sticks of ram or something? I've attached images of the 2 different motherboards using different cpus, psu's and different pairs of ram but still having the same issue. Any tips would be appreciated a lot, thank you p.s I'm running an R5 5600x, the other cpu is an R3 2200g
  14. Nowhere to be seen, you'd think that they would sync by putting both camera rolls together, instead of replacing both camera rolls with the most recent one
  15. The phone is fixed now, it fully works but all of the old photos have been replaced with the photos from my iPhone 7 as they automatically synched
  16. So my old iPhone SE broke so I upgraded to an iPhone 7. I couldn't keep my old photos from the SE because I didn't pay for enough storage for a backup. I just fixed my iPhone SE and was happy to see all of my photos on it. I then went out for a meal, leaving the phone at home to charge. I arrived back at home and went back to the SE and was shocked to see that all of my old photos have disappeared and have been replaced by the photos from my iPhone 7 as the SE connected to my Wi-Fi and synched them up. Is there anything I can do? Or are my old photos just gone, they're not in recently deleted and I don't really know what to do
  17. Hey all, ever since a couple weeks ago my PC has randomly been freezing/locking up, I'll be doing something and all of a sudden nothing works, I can't load web pages, I can't open programs, all my apps freeze, I can't even press the windows button. I am unsure what is wrong, I've done a little bit of troubleshooting, I've reset bios, reset windows, reinstalled ram, used a different PSU but nothing has worked, if anyone could help it would be appreciated a lot, my specs are: CPU- Ryzen 7 3700x Cooler- Hyper 212 LED Mobo- Strix B450-F GPU- 1060 Gaming X 3gb Ram- 3200mhz 2x8gb HyperX Fury PSU- Corsair MWE White 700w HDD- 1tb WD Blue SSD- 512gb Transcend SATA SSD I also have 4 upHere case fans so airflow is not an issue Thanks
  18. I've done that 2 days ago and it hasn't made any difference

  20. So I recently got my hands on an old dead 27" 2009 iMac, I took it apart and kept a couple things, one being the display. It is 2560x1440 and seems to be fully working, I was just wondering if there would be any way I could recycle it for normal desktop use. If I could custom build a frame and some sort of PCB for power and input, would it be possible to use it as a normal monitor? The panel number is LM270WQ1 from LG, I have included pictures of the panel and the connectors on it. If not I will either just sell it or scrap it, but it would suck to see a decent looking display go to waste. Thanks
  21. Hey people, i'm looking to overhaul my PC soon and get a 3070 and do full hardline cooling, was just wondering what cases people think would look good, I like how the Meshify C looks but i'm not fully sure if there would be enough room for everything. I would like recommendations, I like the PC in this video from TechSource, but I would like something bigger. Thanks!
  22. We haven't noted all of them, but the two that we have noted are KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and irql_not_less_or_equal
  23. Hey people, I recently built my girlfriend a pc as she has wanted one for a while, but she has been having quite a lot of crashes, any games she plays crashes within 30 minutes and her pc bluescreens often too, we have tried sfc /scannow multiple times, memory diagnostic tool, driver updates, driver verifier, deleting temp files, updating bios, DISM repair, reinstalling games, we have looked at crash logs but haven't gotten far, we are at a dead end and we are not sure what to do. Specs are: Ryzen 5 2600X Asus Prime A320M-A 16gb 3200mhz Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1660 Super 6GB WD Green 1tb 7200rpm HDD SanDisk 2280 128GB M.2 Sata SSD Corsair CV550 Any help would be greatly appreciated, as we are currently stuck, thank you
