  1. Is your house grounding or earthing properly installed?
  2. Although I play only two games which are Apex and BF1, both of which seem to be Cpu intensive.
  3. The temps in gaming is around 82-83C but in benchmarks and OCCT stress test its lower at around 76-78C. The case is a CK500 from Deepcool. Front fans are FK120 x3 full speed, top x2 and back exhaust are FC120 full speed. So airflow is pretty decent I guess. The cooler was torqued down till the spring loaded screws locked and couldn't be tightened any more. The screws were tightened with half a turn in an alternate pattern.
  4. Trust me, 40C is low. Weather reports say that it will increase to 45C peak summer.
  5. I use Arctic MX4 with a X pattern and ambients reach 38-40C now. The fans on the cooler are on full.
  6. Okay so setting the negative curve offset will help with getting lower voltages and temperatures? Will try it in asap as the CPU reaches 85C while gaming and scares me because on my previous Ryzen 3600xt I didn't even exceed 65C even in peak summer using the same cooler.
  7. I tried -25 but it's hard crashing and restarting in games so I didn't fiddle with that setting anymore.
  8. I am trying to undervolt my CPU a Ryzen 5600x on a Gigabyte B550 board to counter high voltage and temps in summer. All processor settings are stock and I set CPU Vcore to Normal from Auto to be able to set a offset of -0.096. After applying this I was playing battlefield but I think I saw some graphical glitches once or twice? So can the CPU undervolt cause Artifacts in games or is it just nothing? My PC: Ryzen 5600x Gigabyte Aorus B550 Pro 2x8gb ram xpg 3200mhz Cooler Thermalright peerless assassin all fans on full
  9. Yes but spoofing on the spot while on call with Amazon executives seems a bit tough. Anyways will keep the ffmpeg in mind.
  10. Looks like they were searching for the link from a past email they sent and accidentally sent me the searched terms.
  11. I recently received mail from Amazon Warranty department while claiming warranty and they asked me to compress video to under 10Mb and send it via the same mail id. When I clicked on the website link they sent (www dot videosmaller dot com) it opened my own inbox. When I did inspect element/copy link address this showed in the link Is there any chance of compromise in my mail account. The mail was legit from @ amazon(dot)com
  12. I seem to have found out the issue. The issue is happening only on the front panel connectors when I shut down without safely ejecting. If I yank it out then it happens all the time (It's a different story but I won't try it again though). The front panel usb might have issue where it loses power suddenly and causes the hdd to not shut down properly, also faced issues sometimes with usb pendrives not being detected. The sound is like this @9s mark. 28 Nov, 11.35 am.m4a
  13. Forgot to mention that this sound happens in the hdd even when shutting down the pc with the ext hdd on.
  14. Pardon my english but I have a question. Recently I saw a short video somewhere about not safely ejecting storage devices and yanking them out after the work is done but it didn't talk about spinning ext hdd. Today I tried it with my seagate ext hdd but it made some sort of chirping/squeak noise when it pulled the usb cord out. Is it not safe to do the same for ext hdd?
  15. Got it yesterday night itself even though I don't play it. Now the thing is if they remove the game from library its fine (its there in library by the name of some lime something) but if they decide to charge extra to the cards they will be dragged to consumer court by many as they had already give the final receipt incl taxes
  16. Just got hold of a used Corsair CX450 (New White/Gray label) for testing my fans. The PSU is around 2years old. Since it's in warranty and seller quoted that it doesn't hold power and trips (needs a full switch off from mains to be able to restart) when on load and UPS switches to battery power (UPS advertises 7-10ms switch over time). If on idle or low load it works fine when switching from UPS AC to Battery power. 12v and 5v Voltages on load and idle are well within specs (measured with multimeter on a spare molex connector). The seller's PC had a ryzen 1600 stock cooler, 16gb ram, 1660 6gb and 6 corsair ll120 fans. Got the PSU for free on condition that if I can RMA then will pay $10 or will keep it as it is. Should I just try to RMA it if the local service partner allows?
  17. Nah but I live near the Airport and major highway of my city. If you are talking about the dust on the monitor, it was not cleaned for a year
  18. They are quite tight. The monitor one specially is extra tight and needs quite a bit of elbow grease to break loose and pull out. The PSU is also tight but not as much as the monitor.
  19. Hi, The power cable for my monitor and psu are not going inside the female port completely. Please see attached pics. They are working fine and are pretty tightly inserted and have no play if moved. Is this a matter of worry or is this normal as the cable's are mass manufactured.
  20. Found someone with something similar on another Asrock board. Looks like Asrock gives error when GPU/iGPU doesn't detect anything on it I/O ports. This seems to be a normal occurrence.
  21. Hi, I was cleaning my PC and I forgot to plug in the Display port cable to my GPU. When I turned on PC it gave 5 beeps followed by a small post successful beep. I then hurriedly plugged in the DP cable and I was greeted with the Windows login screen. So why the 5beeps, GPU was already plugged into motherboard and power cable was connected only I missed out on the DP cable. Can the bios detect if gpu has something plugged in the I/O ports or not and maybe warned me that connect the cable? My GPU is a msi 6600xt and cpu is r5 3600.
  22. Hi guys. Need help in troubleshooting an issue. This is gonna be a long post. I have a fairly okayish gaming PC which has asrock x570+ryzen 3500+rx6600+16gb TridentZ Rgb. PSU is an Antec EAG 750 which is a decent tier 1 PSU. The voltages of the PSU are in check and don't fall or spike and are stable. This issue I have faced twice. Case 1: I was playing Apex Legends in February and PC shut itself off and restarted instantly mid-game. I consulted some people and they all said that this was not a PSU issue as tripping of a PSU won't make the PC restart immediately. I reseated the RAM while cleaning and I think that ram was loose or improperly seated. Case 2: Today I didn't even load up any game, just was in a discord server lying idle for around 10mins or so. I touched the mouse and BAM another restart. The thing to note in these restarts is that all of the restarts happened after the PC was cleaned and ram was removed and re-inserted for cleaning. So is it common for such issues to occur in memory slots that have latch on one side? In my PC getting the memory to sit properly is a pain. Firstly the bottom part is a push-fit and no clicks are there to know when it goes in all the way, secondly my AIO tubes goes from right where the first ram slot is, so pushing it properly is a headache. So far I have reinstalled both the ram sticks after removing the AIO and it seems to work fine for now. I had a Gigabyte x370 and it had dual memory slot latches and I never faced such issues on that board.
