  1. As FPGA's are effective at churning through data with every cycle would they be effective for F@H writing the code may be difficult and slow but if tis were done would they be effective?
  2. Thanks Guys I went through your comments and after a few of those and a bit if trial and error I got there in the end. Now running stable and many times faster.
  3. I have recently upgraded the RAM in my pc from. Samsung 1x 8GB 2666v DDR4 SODIMM. To Corsair Vengeance 2x 16GB 2666v DDR4 SODIMM. This has caused my pc to blue screen I have double checked the motherboard MSI MS-B9181 specs and it should be okay with up to 32gb of RAM. I have removed the CMOS battery but this hasn't seemed to fix or help with the issue. Help would be appreciated. Thanks Rich
  4. I have been folding 24/7 since the first of Nov it says 926K but this isn't the case, I'm getting about 300K which has been this way since the end of June. If you need any other screen shots give me a shout.
  5. How would I go about folding in Linux? I haven't used Linux since I was a child and even then it was a limited experience. I haven't hit the est PPD for months now.
  6. I have been folding 24/7 since 1-11-20 other than the 11-11-20 when we had a power issue and I have only been getting average 300,000 points. I haven't been gaming as I work far too much and cant be at the pc. The only program running is F@H. Slider is set to full. I have plenty of cooling and runs at about 60oC. I will take a look at the Vram cooling. Thanks guys. Edit Ram seems to be cooling fine according to GPU Z.
  7. Hi Guys. I have a little problem. please HELP! I am running a 1660ti and have massive point issues i should be getting over 1mill points a day, for some reason I am not reaching this bracket and haven't for a long time now. i have tried many things to change this but nothing seems to work. - No overclock - changing the overclock - re installing F@H - double and triple checking I have put my folding key in correctly Ideas anyone we need the points for the team in general but I would definitely like to perform better for folding month.
  8. Have just put my passkey in again hopefully it makes a difference. thanks cbigfoot.
  9. Agreed. its just a shame it hasn't picked up for the sprint. I'm getting a bum draw most days at the moment folding 24/7
  10. Is anyone else finding production really slow. I was earning about 1000000 points a day but I am now down to about 300000 points if I am lucky.
  11. Lets get this wagon rolling will be good to see the daily avearge points go up, even if it is only for a short period.
  12. I only found out about folding last year and love it, properly addicted. last year I had a 10 year old mac book pro and just scraped the minimum CPU folding. This year I have Upgraded to a 1660ti Ventus OC and I'm flying on the points can't wait for this sprint to start.
  13. Is anyone finding a massive lack in work units? The very second that I post this on the forum my graphics card boots into gear.
