  1. I read that you cannot scale a single display when using x11 like I have to because I use nvidia. But I find that odd because cinnamon, which also uses x11 can scale both monitors separately from one another just fine and it also uses x11. Any ideas on how to get around this kde limitation? The nvidia settings are no help either, because they are extra limited on fedora for some reason, compared to ubuntu that is. Any ideas on how to get around this issue?
  2. Could you please take another look at that intel gpu? I have a feeling it might work if you use it with an intel oem mobo from around the time that card was made.
  3. I copied the theme over tho the ~/.icons folder and then selected it in gnome tweak tool. Some icons changed but most of them remained the same as the default pop icons.
  4. icon themes are not applying properly. I applied tela-blue dark https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1279924/ but it is not applying properly in popos 20.10. any idea why.
  5. I lnow that, but I mean through open source alternatives.
  6. What was done in this video, would it be possible to do on linux?
  7. This is the error I get. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Yje4JwttjmssiIsw2BIo6rogSXjuIyo4/view?usp=sharing
  8. Could I jurry rig a solution from using an antenna cable from a brokes ds in place of it? (If it will fit in the phone?) Fortunately apple used the standard antenna plug.
  9. I figured it out thanks for your help though. I am now writing a guide on it on reddit.
  10. When I run the program it detects my bluetooth connected ps4 controller's inputs fine. However, unlike in a video I watched my gyros are not working. How do I set this up? I put a brave.txt file in the autoload folder like it asked me to and a SOTTR.txt file in the gyro folder. Each has the Shadow of The Tomb Raider configuration in it. I am on Linux by the way.
  11. I am in the JoyShockMapper-1.6.1 folder when I do all of this. Am I in the wrong folder? Error still persists.
  12. I am trying to install JoyShockMapper on Linux but for some reason CMake starts looking for needed files in ~/Downloads instead of in the Joyshock mapper folder. Why is this and does anyone know a fix?
  13. I found this one for windows but it does not work in wine. Could someone tell me how to build it for linux? I looked in the readme file for the source code and it says it can be done I just do not know how to do it myself. Could someone help me with that. If I make a reddit (or an LTT one for that matter (tbh this post was on reddit first)) post after it is working I will be sure to give you and the developer of the program credit for it. Link :https://github.com/JibbSmart/JoyShockMapper#installation-for-players it is the one Linus used in his video about this topic.
  14. https://www.google.com/search?q=doubleshock+III&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiio56q2ILrAhXgoXIEHdF9BhkQ_AUoAXoECBgQAw&biw=1440&bih=832#imgrc=QSBfMWPjoGrcmM There is a picture of it. I do have an 8 bit do controller that is really awesome I just do not use it because no controller grips therefore smaller motors. If you are curious it is the SN 30Pro
  15. if my controller says sixaxis on the packaging (even if it is third party) does that mean it has motion controls?
  16. Ok thanks, it close enough, it is a cheap 3rd party PS3 controller I bought specifically for pc games. (It's surprisingly good considering it was only 25 CAD)
  17. I found out that I was much better at aiming with the mouse and keyboard, but I really enjoy gaming with the controller (for the rumble feedback and because I am used to playing most games with a controller.) Is there a way where I can get the best of both worlds?
