  1. I just dont see how 400mhz means 100 less fps
  2. I feel like my frames aren't good in games because of my cooler. Pbo enabled it only boosts up to 4.2 ghz which is not ideal. My friend who has a worse cpu (3800x) gets a higher frame dip than me in valorant, he averages around 190-220 while my frames sometimes goes down to 90-240 and this isn't ideal. I bought this cpu to get a lot of frames. We are on the same video settings and everything. and same graphics card (5700xt). I don't know if this is also a ram problem, I currently have 3266 mhz ram meanwhile my friend has 3600 but this shouldn't mean my frames go down to 90, right?
  3. Got new headphones the Philips shp-9500s. I was wondering if it is better to plug it on the front panel or back panel. I have a s340 non elite case and a b550m bazooka, if that's relevant.
  4. so the a500 will fit and how much will thermals improve? Based on your speculations obviously.
  5. xt variants dont get coolers included
  6. the u14s and the a500 are the same price. Which one is better?
  7. I currently have a 212 evo on my 3900xt, I see it going at 85 degrees sometimes while using cinebench is that ok? Only have PBO enabled at max 200 mhz boost. When I look at ryzen master it seems to be stuck at 4000 mhz while using cinebench. Will getting a better cooler improve performance? Not looking to spend much tho. I was looking at a Noctua NH-U12S its 80$ on amazon CA rn. Wondering if that's a "worth" purchase.
  8. Is it possible to cool a 3900xt with a 212 evo. The 3900xt doesnt come with stock cooler so I thought maybe the 212 evo can replace it. I already have it on my 3600 so it will just be a matter of switching the cpu's and thermal paste. Will there be any overheating problems. I have a NZXT s340 non elite with 2 exhausts and 2 intakes. Also have a 5700xt nitro+ if that adds any heat.
  9. Thats what I thought! haha I was like I'm not that stupid am I?
  10. Thanks dude, btw this was the mic arm that didnt fit my desk https://www.ebay.ca/itm/321765249316
  11. Im really bad at measurements so I came here to seek for help. I wanted to know if this monitor mount's clamp https://www.amazon.ca/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=monitor%2Bmount%2B100x100%2Bvesa&qid=1599977738&sr=8-5&th=1 Fits on my table which is this https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/linnmon-tabletop-black-brown-80251358/ Because I bought a mic arm before and the clamp was too small, so I dont trust my measurements lol.
  12. So I have a 240 hz monitor and it runs fine at 240 hz until randomly mid game it switches to 60hz in valorant. The only way of fixing it is to change the resolution and then change it back, then I'm usually good until I close the game. This only happens in valorant and it never happened before on my 144hz monitor so I don't think its the game. But this also doesnt happen in any other game other than csgo lol. I have a feeling that it only happens in those 2 because I get a lot of fps but idk. Full specs to my monitor: https://news.lenovo.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Lenovo-Legion-Y25-25-Monitor_Etailer.pdf If it helps my specs are: r5 3600 non x 32 gbs @ 3266 1060 3gb
