  1. are you playing on vulcan or directx? i am playing half life alyx on an 2070s on recommended geforce settings and never had frame drops exept while playing on vulcan. I have a oculus rift cv1 but im using 150-200% resolution through steam display settings.
  2. I think you can inly control the rgb lights through the ICue software or am i misunderstanding something.
  3. what if there is a lot of unused ram_
  4. i will try a different gpu and maybe older divers if that doesnt help i will probablly have to get a replacement.
  5. bend my motherboard and damaged the copper on the cooler.
  6. yea i also thought this way but even after a clean windows installation it still appears and its happening on both monitors one is connected with displayport and one with hdmi
  7. When my frames go under 160 fps it starts to do vertical "screentearing" but only in some areas on my screen this disappers when using windowed mode and going back in fullscreen but only aslong as i dont tab out and in again. VSync or locking my fps dowsnt seem to work and this only appears to happen on directx games and never on Vulcan games. GPU: RTX 2070s
  8. after searching it up since i didnt know what that is you could be right. just weird that i couldnt really find any videos/forum posts about rapid mode which had similar experiences.
  9. so since i got an nvme samsung ssd (970 evo plus) yesterday i installed the Magician software to test the speeds. Then i found the rapid mode feature which i can enable for my older sata ssd (860 evo) and reached a maximum amount of 8104 read and 6807 write speed. This was also really inconsistent the average is more around 4500 read and 4000 write. now i want to know if this is some software issue.
