- If the video has a commentator, s/he needs a personality that's enjoyable to watch/listen to. (Hold and "uh"s and the "um"s, please.)
- While not really following a script, it's always a good idea to organize the topics you want to talk about in the video, otherwise there might be those awkward silences.
- None of that camcorder-pointed-at-the-screen shit. That's extremely unprofessional and I swear it gives me eye cancer.
- I like channels that upload not necessarily frequently, but consistently. If they have a specific upload schedule, then they better damn well stick to it, or at least make a post with a reason as to why there isn't going to be a video uploaded on a specific day.
- I really hate videos with overly-long 30+second introductions with the typical "so-and-so presents..." "a fakeproduction productions video...". I'm sure the content creators go through plenty of effort to make these intros, but people usually watch the videos for the content, not the intro.
