What are ideal temps for this type of config btw?

My TJ Max is 105C HWiNFO64 doesn't work on my computer. Crashes every time. I currently have 16bg of Corsair Dominator DDR 3 in my system set in 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 configuration. Paired with I5 3570k. Not much of an upgrade path these days?

So I realized that I have not changed the thermal compound in this computer since the day it was built back in 2012. What is a good thermal compound to use these days? I know Linus and others have lots of videos posted about the process of actually doing it.

Would the Crucial MX 500 1tb ssd be a good fit?

Any other upgrades I can make without doing a complete new build?

Still using my 3570k with 16gb ddr3 and Gigabyte 1660 super triple fan gpu......

Any thoughts?

Thinking about the Crucial MX500 1 tb or the Samsung 860 1tb?

Thoughts? Also looking to get a 1tb ssd for games. All my hard drives are pretty much full. Suggestions?

I wasn't looking to spend a lot of $ or build a new system right now. Is there anything else worth upgrading or just let it live out its days?
