  1. Okay, I'll give this a try as well. I tried manually setting voltage and frequency and it seems like I can get away with 1.1V and 4.00 GHz.
  2. Got it. What the best method of tuning the CPU voltage and frequency?
  3. Hello all! It's that time of year again—summer is paying its yearly visit and temperatures are going up. So, I would rather not have a space heater in my room. Therefore, I'm trying to undervolt my CPU (and GPU) to try to decrease the heat that my computer generates. Could anyone give me some pointers for this process? Here's what I'm working with: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700X GPU: 2070 Super Motherboard: ROG Crosshair VIII Formula (X570 chipset) OS: Manjaro Linux I'm comfortable with using any tools in Manjaro or in the UEFI of my motherboard. Thanks in advance! Owen
  4. Have Dennis build a PC by himself with little to no help
  5. How about showing how to create a good fan curve for your CPU cooler and case fans (maybe different for intake and exhaust?) in the UEFI or using other software (with Linux support!) that is quiet but also will cool your CPU.
  6. I contacted ASUS and I got two different responses from the ASUS L2 support. One is that the GPU is faulty, one is the motherboard is faulty. So....
  7. Was not able to find the solution on the ASUS ROG forum.
  8. Hello all, After booting, I get a error that says "Load VGA BIOS." My motherboard is the ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Formula and my GPU is the ASUS ROG 2070 Super Advanced. I am currently on the latest motherboard BIOS (2010). I have tried the following: Resetting the CMOS Updating the BIOS (to 2010) Reseating the GPU Trying the other PCIe slot What does this error mean? And what should I do to fix it? If you need any other information, please ask. Thanks, Owen EDIT: I do not have SLI which seems to be causing most of the problems.
