Hi, I'm helping a friend with his pc. He bought a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB to install his windows on. His previous drive was a 4TB Seagate HDD. We cleaned the whole pc because he wanted to do a fresh install of his whole pc. When we now try to install windows 10 from a boot USB, it will install all the files, but when it then reboots to start windows it shows the message "reboot and select proper boot device". We did take the usb out and the boot priorities should be correct.
I've checked the bios and we've tried about every setting but nothing seems to work. Also cleared the CMOS but that didn't work either.
He has a Intel 7700K with an Gigabyte z270x Gaming Ultra MB.
Would really appreciate some help with getting his windows to boot.
